DDD: Birthday Card + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!!!  It's Wednesday and so it's time for me to share a card using some beautiful digital files from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This time, it's a masculine birthday card that was made for my brother's special day last week. :)  Come take a look!

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: Mother's Garden of Wishes (sentiment), Bouquet of Daisies (patterned paper).

I kept it really simple so that I wasn't tempted to get all fancy. ;)  It was kind of hard, but I really tried and I think it worked out well!

Birthdays are a great reminder to me that we are all children of God and that He is our true parent and we have a divine destiny.  Each birthday can be a reminder that we are loved and that we are blessed each and every day--no matter what our situation is.  We are all blessed with life and free will--we should grab at all the opportunities we can in order to show our gratitude to a loving God for all we have been given!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and that you take some time to create something beautiful!  HUGS and happy stamping to all of you! :)

Doodle Pantry: Have Courage!

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another card that uses some more darling digis from Doodle Pantry!  This week, it's a cute giraffe with an uplifting message!  I think you'll really like the digi paper--it is SO fun and fabulous!  Come and see!

Here's the card~

Details~

I've used patterned paper, an image, and a sentiment from the new Jiggles Giraffe set.  I LOVE this set and the fun sentiments that come with it--Laurie's sets are always fabulous like that! ;)

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope that you join in the fun of the monthly Doodle Pantry challenge.  Don't forget--if you use a Doodle Pantry product, you'll receive this month's featured set (the Petite Bouquet set) for FREE!  HUGS and happy digi stamping, all!

Inspired By Stamping: A Rose...Just Because

Well hello again to all of you!  I'm back with another creation that uses fabulous products from the Inspired By Stamping store.  I've done a fun fold card this time around.  Come and take a peek at it!

Here's the card head on.  I've used some different patterned papers from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad.  I layered pieces of these papers onto some black card stock to make them POP.

Next, I stamped the rose image from the Flowers Bloom set.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink so that I could color it in with my Spectrum Noir markers.  The shading for this image is super easy--just follow the lines!  It makes it a snap!  I cut out the image to layer onto my main panel.

It was then time to choose a sentiment.  This one from the Just Because Sentiments set was perfect.  Now this card is ready for almost any occasion!  The pearls underneath were used to echo the other pearls used throughout the card.

The main panel was completed with two punched glittery pink butterflies also accented by the same pearls.  I really like the collage effect all of these elements created!

Did I mention this was a fun fold card?  I hope you can tell how this opens...I think I *might* have done this backwards, but I'm okay with it. ;)  I think it isn't TOO hard to figure out how to open it up!

The whole thing is closed with seam binding ribbon tied on the side into a bow.  A row of pearls helps to secure the ribbon and to add more texture and glam.  The seam binding is also the easiest ribbon to tie, in my opinion.  It's so flexible! :)

Here's a last look at the completed card.  That's all for me today, friends!  I hope you take the chance to make something fun today and that you grab these goodies from the Inspired By Stamping store!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

52CCT: GLITTER!

Hi, all!  So, I am REALLY proud of myself!  I've got a card today for 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown for our weekly challenge, which is to use GLITTER.  And I did NOT have a GRI* in the making of this card, which is a super duper miracle!

Here's my card~

Details~

I've used stamps and glitter washi tape from Inspired By Stamping, seam binding ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, a glue pad from Tsukineko (PERFECT for that glitter), rhinestones by Basic Grey, a dry embossing folder by Sizzix, and all other supplies are from Stampin' Up!.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!  I hope you join our challenge and that you leave some love with the other amazing gals on this DT, too!  HUGS and merry stamping, all!

*GRI: Glitter related incident.  It's from Will & Grace...I hope you know what I'm talking about, but if not, let me tell you about it--it is HILARIOUS!  Jack gets glitter in his eye and has to wear an eye patch.  His exact words when asked what happened are, "I had a GRI...I have had the biggest glitter related tragedy since Mariah Carey's film debut."  And that is where I get the acronym  GRI from. ;)

DDD: Earth Day + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  Welcome to another installment of Wednesday Wisdom accompanied with a card made with products from Diane's Daydream Designs.  This time, I've got a (late) card to celebrate Earth Day!  Yeah, I know.  Earth Day was yesterday...I'm sure you can forgive me. ;)

Here's the card~

Details~

This sentiment and card remind me of a song that Amy Grant sings (the exact words of the sentiment).  It also reminds me of all the things that we have to be grateful for that God has given us.  This earth is amazing!  All the different foods and animals, all the different terrains, all the different climate, and all the different people.  And even still, we are ALL brothers and sisters.  We are ALL God's children.

And that is something constant that never changes.  Our worth is great to God and He will love us no matter what.  He wants us to return home to Him.  It is up to us to live worthy to do so.  And He knows we can do it!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you take some time to create today!  And don't ever forget--YOU ARE LOVED. :)  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!
