Paper Sweeties September 2015 Inspiration Challenge #35

Hi, friends!  It's time for another monthly challenge at Paper Sweeties, and we have a SUPER fun inspiration board for you this month!  Take a peek...

Super fun colors and wonderful back-to-school inspiration, don't you think?!  OR, you could go autumnal...which is what I did. ;)  Take a peek!

I started by stamping and coloring images from the Stand Add-On: Scarecrow stamp set.  I paper pieced the scarecrow's overalls and added a little Peppermint Sequin to it.  I die cut these images with the Stand Add-On: Scarecrow Sweet Cuts dies.  The apple basket image is from the Stand Add-On: Fall Harvest stamp set.  These sets work SO WELL together--perfectly autumnal! :)

The sentiment is pieced together from the *NEW* Wishing You stamp set from our latest release!  I LOVE the fun way the sentiments in this stamp set can be mixed and matched--SUPER versatile! A few Cookie Dough and Peppermint sequins add more shine and texture on top of the patterned papers I chose for this card.

This card turned out pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself!  What do you think of it?  I'd love for you to leave me a comment and let me know! :)

Now it's YOUR turn to join the fun!  Hop over to the Paper Sweeties blog to link up, and don't forget to check out the inspiration from the other gals, too!

Here's the list~

I'll be back with inspiration for the monthly release later this month!

Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Great Impressions: My Sunshine

Hello again, friends!  It's Monday, so that means I get to share another creation with you that uses some fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I'm sharing a fun card using one the *NEWEST* sentiments.  Take a peek...

I decided to use the sentiment, E876 My Sunshine, as my only stamping.  I just accented it with a couple of butterflies. :)  Liquid pearls were my embellishment of choice on this card--keeping it simple helped make the sentiment the star!

I just LOVE the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  Please let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below for me to read. :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Inspired By Stamping: Shimmery Summer Baskets

Hi, friends!  I'm here to share a card with you that I made using the *NEW* Summer Baskets stamp set from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  I used some shimmery paper to highlight the beauty of the fabulous image in this set.  Come and take a peek...

I started by stamping my hook, basket, and leaf images from the *NEW* Summer Baskets set onto the shimmer cardstock.  I stamped three flowers onto another piece of the shimmery paper and then fussy cut them out.  I added some flower sequins with liquid pearl centers for more shine and texture.  The shine is just SO pretty IRL--I wish the photos did it justice!

After creating the basket and layering things together, I added a sentiment from the *NEW* Flower of the Month: Poppies stamp set below.  The font that Joanna used for the past release is just SO PRETTY!!!  All the sets that came with sentiment feature it, so make sure to grab them from the store!

Lastly, I matted the shimmery panel with some green cardstock and then layered it onto a card base that was gussied up with some more green cardstock and patterned paper.  I kept the color combo simple--adding more colors in just didn't feel right!  I LOVE the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today!  That's all for me today!  Make sure to hop over to the Inspired By Stamping online store to grab these fabulous products.  Also, don't forget to join in our monthly challenge, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

CutCardStock: Punched Pumpkin + Faux Patina

Hi, all!  I'm back with  my final project for the CutCardStock blog.  It's been a wonderful company to work with--many thanks to Amber, the DT coordinator, and Cindy, the owner, for everything! :)  Today, I'm sharing a fun card using a Faux Patina panel and a punched pumpkin, AKA a Punchkin.  Take a peek...

I used Classic Crest Solar White, Curious Metallic Cognac, Curious Metallic Mandarin, and Muscletone Kraft cardstocks for my card.  These papers are gorgeous and such a high quality!  The shine is absolutely STUNNING in real life.

I went with an autumnal color scheme because I am SO ready for fall. ;)  I think this turned out beautifully.  I hope you do, too!  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I invite you to visit the CutCardStock blog for a full tutorial on how to make this card.  One last THANK YOU to Amber and Cindy, as well!  I will be back soon with more crafty endeavors, friends!   HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

Great Impressions: Seize the Daisies

Hello again, friends!  It's Monday, so that means I get to share another creation with you that uses some fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I'm sharing a fun card using one the *NEWEST* sentiments, and it is a pun!  I LOVE IT!  Take a peek...

I decided to use the sentiment, D507 Seize the Daisies, as the center of...a daisy!  I'm a pun lover, so it was inevitable. ;)  Some leaves were added to reinforce the floral idea, plus a few other goodies.  The sentiment was highlighted with some Sakura glitter gels pens, too.
