Paper Sweeties December 2015 Inspiration Challenge

Hi, friends!  HAPPY DECEMBER!  I am so excited to get to share with you some of the *NEWEST* products from Paper Sweeties, along with our monthly challenge!  Take a peek at our inspiration this month...

I LOVE traditional holiday colors, so that was my inspiration.  One thing that brings me joy during the holiday season is to share little treats, decked out with handmade wrapping.  That was my inspiration for my creation.  Check it out...

I used the *NEW* Sugar and Spice stamps and Sugar and Spice Sweet Cuts dies to create my packaging.  I added a few Marshmallow sequins for "buttons" and some rusty jingle bells for some added interest.  I then decided to add some googly eyes...my ginger-guy just needed them! ;)

I added some velvet ribbon to my chevron envelope. then layered all my elements together.  What's inside, you ask?  Well, a hot cocoa packet and a candy cane, of course!  Sugar and spice! ;)  I LOVE this fun creation, and I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

That's all for me, friends!  Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by!  I hope you come and join in the fun with us this month, and don't forget to check out the other DT makes!

Here's you list~

I'll be back later this month with some more Paper Sweeties creations!

Great Impressions: Holly Jolly

Hi, everyone!  It's Monday, so that means it's time for me to share another card using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  I've got another card using my favorite Peppermint String image to share with you today...take a peek...

I wanted to use the image in a different way from how I used it last week, so I decided to keep it simple and stamp E816 Peppermint String just one time and then add a larger sentiment below.  I once again colored the image with a Sakura glitter gel pen and then I added some rhinestones to the centers.  The sentiment, E850 Holly Jolly, was colored with markers before I stamped it.  Some faux stitching helped pull the focal panel together.

I used some digital patterned paper to add more interest to my card base before adding the focal panel.  I think this card is super fun, and I hope you do, too!  Please let me know what you think about it in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

It's beginning to look a lot like...Valentine's Day?!

Hi, friends!  Yes.  I know.  It's not even Thanksgiving.  Yes.  I know.  Christmas is over a month away.  Yep...but as crafters, I know we can all agree, that we have to start holiday crafting EARLY.  So, I'm getting an early start on Valentine's Day with fun *NEW* dies from The Stamps of Life!  Check out my first Valentine for 2016!

I used the *NEW* Love/Hearts Dies for the main part on the left.  I decided to use glitter paper and patterned paper to keep things simple, yet pack a big punch.  I added some seam binding ribbon in a bow to tie it off.

The base of the card was made with the Sizzix Hearts Step-Up Dies set, so MORE hearts were easily added to the steps.  Once again, I added some glitter paper for sparkle and shine, as well as some dies cut words for more of a concrete sentiment.

At the bottom, I added some Guava buttons, two with pink sunflower rhinestones in the centers.  I love the way all these colors and textures come together to create something super fun!

I am SUPER excited about these dies--they are going to make all my Valentines as easy as pie!  I hope you like my first take on Valentine's Day--please leave me a comment to let me know what you think! :)

I'm entering my card with these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you have some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges.  That's all for now--until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, all! :)

Shake It!

Hi, friends!  I've got a super fun card today that uses some of the *NEWEST* stamps from The Stamps of Life!  I kept it pretty CAS to showcase the fun images and sentiments.  Check it out...

This card uses the *NEW* saltshaker2stamp and sayings4shakers sets.  I used the stamps to create my own patterned paper by stamping one of the sayings in different colored inks and adding the small shaker outline.  The shaker itself had some glitter added to it, then on top I put Glossy Accents to make it look like glass. So fun!

I just LOVE the main sentiment!  It's perfect for all your shaker cards, although this is not one.  I think that "Shake it, baby!" is appropriate for almost any celebration, don't you?!

I am really pleased with this fun card, and I hope you like it, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!  I appreciate all your feedback, friends! :)

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so very much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges!  That's all I've got right now, so until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
