TRCC: Challenge #4: One Week Reminder!

Hi, friends! Just poppin' by to say THANK YOU for everyone who has joined in this month at The Rainbow Card Challenge and letting everyone know you have one week left to enter your creations! To show my appreciation, I've created a digital card to share with you! Take a peek...

The focal panel of this card was pretty easy-peasy to make! I used Adobe Photoshop to get the variety of elements the correct colors and in the proper places, but you could probably make something very similar in a word processing program! If you like this card panel, I'm sharing it for FREE! Just left click, then right click, and save for your PERSONAL USE!

Panel size 5" x 3.75". FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. COPYRIGHT 2019 MHKDESIGNS.

I'll be sharing a different ombre card from each month this year, so make sure to check back each month to complete your collection! Don't forget to head over to The Rainbow Card Challenge to link up with us, too! Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Hoppy Easter!

Happy Saturday, friends! I have a sweet Easter card to share with you today. It uses a DARLING digi image drawn by the very talented Lee Holland, and a bunch of sweet embellishments. Take a peek...

I colored the image with colored pencils and added some Stickles for added shine and texture. I also added some seam binding ribbon from The Stamps of Life, a doily, black pearls, string, and a button from my stash, and patterned paper from Stampin' Up!.

I just adore the way this turned out! What do YOU think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~

I chose Bunnies & Flowers

Thanks again for stopping by, friends! I hope you have some time to create and that you all have a very happy Easter tomorrow! Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping!

Otter-ly Adorable!

Hi, friends! Thanks for stopping by today! I have an otter-ly adorable card to share with you! It's got a CAS feel and two darling creatures on it! Take a peek...

I made this card for my best friend--my husband! I saw these darling otter dies at Poppy Stamps, and I KNEW I had to have them! I adore all animals, but especially ones that lend themselves to a good pun! And otters naturally do! The sentiment is from Avery Elle. I added some punched hearts and black liquid pearl accents, and a strip of patterned paper from The Stamps of Life to mimic water behind the pair of furry friends.

I totally LOVE the way this turned out! I hope that you like it, too! I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'm entering this creation into these fabulous challenges~

Thanks again for stopping by, friends! I hope you enjoy your day and take some time to craft and create! Hopefully you'll get to enter some of these wonderful challenges, too! Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to all!

TRCC: Challenge #4: Perfectly Pink

Hello, friends, and happy April! I hope you're looking forward to a new month--I know I am! Thank you so much to everyone who played along last month at The Rainbow Card Challenge, and here is this month's prompt...

Now, we really just want to see creations with an abundance of pink. You don't have to necessarily go with the "perfectly girly" theme or use the photos as your guide. Mostly monochrome, if you understand my meaning. For all the details about the "rules" (there are very few), you can see the challenge post! This post is about the card I made, so take a peek...

I decided to continue my "stash rummage" for this creation. I found a Martha Stewart floral stamp set that hadn't seen the light of day for many a moon, some pink inks from Stampin' Up! that needed to be used so they knew they were loved, and a sentiment stamp from a rarely used (tragic!) Paper Smooches set. I am loving finding old treasures! I kept the accents of this feminine creation soft and pearly to keep with the polished feel, with just a bit of sparkle on the sentiment thanks to a glitter gel pen from Sakura.

I think this card turned out beautifully, and I hope you like it, too! I would LOVE for you to let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Please come and join us this month at The Rainbow Card Challenge! I LOVE seeing what everyone creates! If you're looking for even more inspiration, you should take a peek at what the other amazingly talented gals on the design team have created, too!
