CutCardStock: Shabby Floral Card

Hi, all!  I'm back today with a card using some lovely papers from the CutCardStock online store. It's a shabby chic card with a shaped paper flower and GORGEOUS shine from the specialty papers.  Take a peek...

I used a Marianne's Designs die to die cut the Stardream Metallic Silver cardstock.  I added this to a card base made from Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and Silver Chevron Glitter Paper.

The floral spray was created with Magenta, Golden Green, and Green Basis cardstock.  I love the way these bold colors POP off of the metallic!

The sentiment was stamped onto more Classic Crest Solar White card.  I made the sentiment into a banner to add a bit more dimension.

I LOVE the way this card turned out!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you so much for stopping in today, friends!  For a more detailed tutorial on how I created this card, please check out the CutCardStock blog.  I'll be back soon with more crafty posts for your viewing pleasure.  Until then, HUGS and happy crafting! :)

CutCardStock: Nature Themed Petal Card

Hello, sweet friends!  I'm here with a card for the CutCardStock blog using beautiful cardstock from the CutCarStock online store!  Today, I'm sharing a decorated Basis Petal card that uses Stardream metallic cardstock to accent it.  Come and see...

I dry embossed the Aquamarine Stardream metallic cardstock and added a sentiment that was stamped on Sweet Tooth Pop Tones cardstock and matted with Black Licorice Pop Tones cardstock.  I love this sentiment--I think it goes well with the natural scene I created.

I fussy cut some Fairway Stardream metallic card to create my grassy knoll. The flowers were punched out of Azalea and Fine Gold Stardream metallic card and layered together.  The shine is just beautiful!

The last step was to add some satin ribbon to tie the card together in the back.  I'm not sure what I will put inside this card, but it will be something special!

Thank you so much for stopping by today to take a peek!  Please head on over to the CutCardStock blog for a step by step on how to recreate this card!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

CutCardStock: Hello, Summer!

Hello, sweet friends!  I'm here with a card for the CutCardStock blog using beautiful cardstock from the CutCarStock online store!  Today, I'm sharing a fun summery card that uses Pop Tones cardstock.  Come and see...

I've used Wild Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Sweet Tooth, Sour Apple, and Black Licorice Pop Tones cardstock for this card.  I did some dry embossing, sponging, and created some punch art for this fun Hello card.

I think this looks TOTALLY summery, don't you?  I tend to go patriotic for summer, so that's kind of where my mind went. ;)  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

CutCardStock: Happy Father's Day Card

Hi, friends!  I am so excited to be sharing another Father's Day card today using Basis Cardstock from the CutCardStock online store.  For a complete tutorial on how to create this card, please pop over to the CutCardStock blog!  Come and take a peek at my creation...

I stamped my image and sentiment onto White Basis Cardstock using Distress Markers.  I chose a masculine color scheme and a fun tie image to go along with the Father's Day theme.  These two pieces were then matted with Dark Orange Basis Cardstock.

I added these pieces to a panel of patterned paper and Dark Orange Basis Cardstock, then added the whole thing to a card base made with Blue Basis Cardstock.  No embellishments this time, some guys just don't like that, you know? ;)

That's all for me today, friends!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  Your visits always make my day!  I'll be back next month with more creations using beautiful papers from the CutCardStock online store.  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
