DDD: Always + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  It's Wednesday so that means it's time for another post from me with a creation using beautiful digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This time I've got a card to remind the recipient that the Lord is always there!

Here's the card~

Sometimes it's hard to realize that the Lord is always with us.  He is always willing to lift and help us.  The way we connect with Him is through prayer and study.  When we make a habit of prayer and reading the scriptures, we will come closer to Him and realize our worth and potential.  Each of us is a child of God.  He loves you--never forget that!

Thank you for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you like what you see!  Go grab these goodies from the Daydream Designs store today!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you all!

DDD: Strawberries + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  It's Wednesday so that means it's time for another post from me with a creation using beautiful digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This time I've got a card that's a mix of many different elements--it's deliciously crafty!

Here's the card~

Every single day is an opportunity for us to lighten a burden and to show that we care.  It is so much easier to just sit back and try to make our own lives as comfortable as possible, but I know that true happiness comes only from reaching out to others and helping in whatever way we can.  Yes, another week where I preach about reaching out, but I just know how important it is.  And I know how it feels when it doesn't happen when it's most needed.  I hope to make sure that nobody feels that way!

Thank you for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you like what you see!  Go grab these goodies from the Daydream Designs store today!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you all!

DDD: Flip Flops + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  It's Wednesday so that means it's time for another post from me with a creation using beautiful digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This time I've got a card that's been sent to a sweet friend who recently moved--just to share a little sunshine!

Here's the card~

I kept this card relatively simple so that it could be mailed more easily.  I love these fun flip flop images!  The summer color scheme is just what's been grabbing me lately.  Trying to be more happy and cheerful! :)

God wants us to make sure that we share His love with our brothers and sisters.  I know I've said this almost every single Wednesday, but I just feel the need to reiterate the importance of reaching out.  Follow those spiritual promptings.  Reach out--to everyone.  Reach out today to someone that you might not think of usually.  Sometimes those who appear to be strong are really struggling and you just don't know.  You'll never truly know your brothers and sisters unless you TRY.  So, my plea today is for you to PLEASE TRY.

Thank you for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you like what you see!  Go grab these goodies from the Daydream Designs store today!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you all!

DDD: Rejoice! + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  It's Wednesday so that means it's time for another post from me with a creation using beautiful digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This time I've got a card to remind us to REJOICE daily!

Here's the card~

I went with super bold and bright colors and patterns because those speak joy to my soul!  This card is one that could go to anyone for a multitude of reasons.  I think I'm going to make a framed creation with this same scripture to remind me to rejoice and to not let life get me down...I have a tendency to do that.  I'm so grateful for the scriptures and the power they can bring into an ordinary life each day!

Thank you for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you like what you see!  Go grab these goodies from the Daydream Designs store today!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you all!

DDD: My Everything + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  It's Wednesday so that means it's time for another post from me with a creation using beautiful digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This time I've got a card that uses a bunch of elements I've been "saving" for quite some time for the perfect project...and it's finally been found!

Here's the card~

I've been waiting for the perfect time to use those buttons.  It's been a LONG time I've been waiting.  But they just seems perfect for this card and I hope you agree!

This card reminds me of how important we are to God.  Each of us is everything to Him.  He loves us more than anything.  Because He loves us, it is SO important for us to share that love with our brothers and sisters.  I recently have gone through a personally semi-tragedy.  If not for the love of those I work with here in blogland, I think I would not have been able to move forward.  THANK YOU to everyone who chose to follow the Lord and reach out to me.  You will never know how much it has meant to me.

Thank you for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you like what you see!  Go grab these goodies from the Daydream Designs store today!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you all!

DDD: Happy Everything + Wednesday Wisdom

Hello again, friends!  It's hump day!!!  Hope your week is going well and I hope that you have an amazing finish to it as well!  I'm here with another card using digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs.  This week, I've got a fun HAPPY EVERYTHING summer card to share with you all!

Here's my card~

Products used: Summer Breeze Papers, Beachscapes, Pot of Tulips (sentiment)

Remember last week?  I said I was going to be more positive?  Well, it's still my goal.  And I think it always will be.  But, as a Christian, I have every reason to rejoice and be happy!  I have a knowledge and a belief in the Atonement of Jesus Christ.  As I utilize it in my life, I can be made clean and eventually live again with my Father.

I have a new motto scripture to go along with this. It's Job 17:9, "The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger."

My goal, along with last week's goal, is to clean unto the Savior so that I can become stronger and stronger.  Won't you join me? :)

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope that you make the choice to start your new life TODAY and that we can work together to become stronger!  YOU ARE LOVED.  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!  See you soon! :)

DDD: Chicken In + Wednesday Wisdom

Howdy, y'all!  I'm back with another creation using digital elements from Diane's Digital Designs!  This week, I've got punny chicken themed creation to share with you!  I love me a good pun, and this set is FULL of them!

Here's my card~

Products used: Country Chicks, Summer Breeze Papers

My Wednesday Wisdom this week is pretty simple--a sense of humor is necessary to go through life happy.  Those people who are able to laugh at themselves are usually more apt to bounce back quickly and see the bright side of life.  This is something I need to work on.  So, I'm putting it out there to the universe--I will be more positive! :)

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!  I hope you like it as much as I do and that you come back next week when I share another creation with you using these fabulous digital elements!  HUGS and happy stamping--never forget you are loved! :)

Father's Day is a wonderful time to remember our earthly fathers as well as our Heavenly Father.  We have the absolutely perfect parenting example in Him.  He loves us--no matter what.  So this Father's Day, remember this:

"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High." ~ Psalms 82:6

DDD: Glossy Nails + Wednesday Wisdom

Hello again, friends!  It's hump day!!!  Hope your week is going well and I hope that you have an amazing finish to it as well!  I'm here with another card using digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs.  I am just IN LOVE with her new girly sets--and this card was definitely made with a special friend in mind!

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: It's a Girl Thing (sentiment), What Girls Like Color Set (images), Summer Breeze (floral paper)

I like to make cards that are especially for specific people.  I feel that God has given us talents and that we should use these talents to share His love with His children--who just happen to be our brothers and sisters! :)  This card reminds me of a special friend and it has already been sent to her.  She has helped me through many many trials and been a wonderful sounding board.  Proverbs 18:24 teaches us:

"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."

Friends truly are the family we create for ourselves.  I feel so blessed that the Lord has brought the friends into my life that He has--they are truly family to me!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you take some time today to show someone you love how much you love them!  And don't ever forget how loved YOU are!  HUGS to you all!

DDD: Graduation Card + Wednesday Wisdom?

Hi, all!  I'm back with another fun card using digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This one was made for my little sister who graduated from high school this past weekend.  I cannot believe she's old enough to do that! ;)

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: Tibits of Turquoise (paper), It's a Girl Thing (sentiment)

This card and time of year is always a reminder to me that life is always ending.  I know that may sound depressing, but I find it to be something that keeps me looking ahead and trying to do my best.  I think that it is natural to become a better person when we realize things are coming to an end.  We are kinder and more thoughtful for the most part at endings.

No scripture to go along with these musings this week, just a thought I've been having!  I'm going to try to make all my ends kinder and happier, I think!  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!  I hope you hop over to the Daydream Design's store and grab these fabulous elements!  HUGS and happy stamping, all!

DDD: Butterfly + Wednesday Wisdom

Welcome, welcome to Wednesday, friends!  It's time for another card using sweet and fabulous products from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This one was made specifically CAS to show off the gorgeous patterned paper...take a look!

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: Doodle Garden set (butterfly), Mother's Garden papers (striped paper), Garden Gifts set (scripture).

This verse is very personal to me, and I am sure it has different meanings to each of us at different times in our lives.  As someone who has struggled with depression and infertility for the past 10 years, I do know that waiting patiently can and will lead to us finding peace if we all the Lord to work on our hearts.  How else would I now be able to live a full life and find joy in motherhood without having my own children?  It is possible, friends, and He is there with outstretched hand waiting for us to take it and be lifted up.  How can you apply this to your life today?

Thank you so much for stopping by today to look at my card and thank you for your sweet comments, too!  I hope you all have a great rest of the week and that you remember that you are ALWAYS loved!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

DDD: Daisies + Wednesday Wisdom

Hello, all!  It's a new Wednesday and a new card that uses some beautiful digital paper and a gorgeous digital image from Diane's Daydream Designs!  I LOVE this image and I think it is so versatile--you need to go and grab this set today!  Take a peek...

Here's the card~

Detail~

Products used: Bouquet of Daisies (image & papers)

This simple card with no sentiment reminds me that God is aware of each of His creations.  His children, his flora, His fauna, He knows them all and He loves them all.  All His creations are beautiful.  From Matthew 6:28-29:

"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

I think it's important to see the true beauty in the world around us and to remember that God created us all to be beautiful without a lot of "help".  :)

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I hope you all love what you see and I want to sincerely thank you for all your kind comments!  Take some time to make something beautiful today--even if it's just a smile. :)  HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

DDD: Birthday Card + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!!!  It's Wednesday and so it's time for me to share a card using some beautiful digital files from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This time, it's a masculine birthday card that was made for my brother's special day last week. :)  Come take a look!

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: Mother's Garden of Wishes (sentiment), Bouquet of Daisies (patterned paper).

I kept it really simple so that I wasn't tempted to get all fancy. ;)  It was kind of hard, but I really tried and I think it worked out well!

Birthdays are a great reminder to me that we are all children of God and that He is our true parent and we have a divine destiny.  Each birthday can be a reminder that we are loved and that we are blessed each and every day--no matter what our situation is.  We are all blessed with life and free will--we should grab at all the opportunities we can in order to show our gratitude to a loving God for all we have been given!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and that you take some time to create something beautiful!  HUGS and happy stamping to all of you! :)

DDD: Earth Day + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  Welcome to another installment of Wednesday Wisdom accompanied with a card made with products from Diane's Daydream Designs.  This time, I've got a (late) card to celebrate Earth Day!  Yeah, I know.  Earth Day was yesterday...I'm sure you can forgive me. ;)

Here's the card~

Details~

This sentiment and card remind me of a song that Amy Grant sings (the exact words of the sentiment).  It also reminds me of all the things that we have to be grateful for that God has given us.  This earth is amazing!  All the different foods and animals, all the different terrains, all the different climate, and all the different people.  And even still, we are ALL brothers and sisters.  We are ALL God's children.

And that is something constant that never changes.  Our worth is great to God and He will love us no matter what.  He wants us to return home to Him.  It is up to us to live worthy to do so.  And He knows we can do it!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you take some time to create today!  And don't ever forget--YOU ARE LOVED. :)  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

DDD: Easter + Wednesday Wisdom

Hi, friends!  It's time for another post with a card using GORGEOUS products from Diane's Daydream Designs and a little bit of "wisdom" from me. :)  This week, I'm sharing an Easter card with you all.

Here's the card~

Details~

Glitter is so hard to photograph!

This card has obviously lead me to think about Easter and the Atoning sacrifice of our Savior.  My favorite verses about our Savior are in the book of Isaiah and the two verses I'm sharing with you today come from Isaiah 53:4-5.  They state,

"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed."

I love these verses because they address a part of the Atonement that is sometimes overlooked.  The part where Christ not only suffered for our sins, but also felt our sadness, sorrow, and grief.  He literally KNOWS how we feel when we don't get that job, when a loved one dies, when we suffer with infertility, when we struggle to figure out how to pay our bills, when we are betrayed, and the list goes on.  At this Easter season, my prayer is that we will turn our hearts to our Savior, repent, and lean on him.  His love can cover anything that may happen in our lives.  Literally.

Thank you so much for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you take some time to create today and that you have a wonderful Easter Sunday.  Always remember--YOU ARE LOVED.  God's love is for all and the only thing He asks in return is that you follow Him.  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

DDD: Tulips + Wednesday Wisdom

Hello to all of you!  I hope your week is going well and that you are happy!  If you aren't, or if you're feeling unloved, please know that I love you (even if I don't know you) and that God loves you, too!  He is ever mindful of you and would love to hear from you! :)  Ok, with that, I should tell you what this post is all about--my latest creation for Diane's Daydream Designs!

Here's the card~

Details~

I've used a tulip image and patterned paper from a brand NEW set from this month's release called Cup of Tulips, the butterfly is from the new Doodle Garden color set, and the sentiment is from the new Bouquet of Daisies set.

This card reminds me of how much I LOVE tulips.  They are my favorite flowers.  And realizing that I have the opportunity to see and be around my favorite flower, whether via a digi image or the real thing, is a tender mercy from God.  It leads me to this verse in 1 Nephi 1:20 that says,

"....But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance."

I love that!  I know that God will bless us with little tender mercies (sometimes called miracles or coincidences) because He is our loving Father.  I also know that He loves ALL of His children--whether or not they believe in Him or believe that He loves them.  I hope you know that He does!

That's all for me right now, all!  Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by and taking a peek at my creation!  I hope you have some time to create today and feel of God's love in your life!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
