MHKDesigns: March 2016 Chalenge

Hello, everyone!  I am back today with another card for our new challenge over at MHKDesigns!  We have a fun and seasonal photo/color inspiration for you this month, and I can't wait to see what you create with it!  Take a peek at the inspiration...

You can be inspired by the photo, the color, OR if you useMHKDesigns products, you can link up ANYTHING you want!  I was inspired by the colors and image this time around, and I really hope you like what I made!  Take a peek at my creation...

I used a sweet image from the Bunny Love set.  I colored parts with white Glaze gel pen, then colored over them and other areas with glitter gel pens.  I punched out the image with a circle punch and framed it with a scallop circle.

This sentiment is also from the Bunny Love set.  I printed it onto vellum, then layered it under the punched image and attached it with staples.

The card base was gussied up with some paper from the Egg-cellent Easter paper pack, then faux stitched with a glitter gel pen from Sakura.  The last thing that was added was some die cut leaves and pink flowers to add some elegance.  I think this card is PERFECT for our challenge, don't you?  I would LOVE to hear what you think of my card in the comments below! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you hop over to join in our monthly challenge at MHKDesigns!  There are prizes for each one, and you can use any products you'd like! :) Don't forget to leave some love with the other gals on this wonderful DT, too!

Great Impressions: Jelly Bean Tag

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another creation using super fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I have a fun jelly bean tag to share with you--perfect for those Easter treat bags!  Take a peek...

This tag uses E712 Jelly Bean Jar and B252 Border of Jelly Beans for my images.  I colored them in with Glaze and glitter gel pens from Sakura.  I added a few rhinestone flowers to tie in the flowers from the jar, as well.  Some liquid pearls were added for flower centers. :)

My sentiment is E890 Life Is Sweeter and was added to the top of the tag.  I just ADORE the fun font of this sentiment--it is SUPER darling!

Some white ribbon and cording was added to the corner of the tag for easy addition to any treat.  I hope you like my tag today--please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Great Impressions: March Challenge

Hi, friends!  It's time for another monthly challenge over at Great Impressions, and our theme is "BUNNY HOP"!  I opted for a fun easel card with a darling new bunny image.  Take a peek...

This card uses J124 Bunny With Eggs as my image.  I colored the image with colored pencils, added some glitter, then popped a few rhinestone flowers onto the focal panel and added liquid pearl centers.  I kept the matting and patterned paper in the same blue/green family to make sure the image really was the star.

The sentiment, D518 Some Bunny Loves You, was added to the inside of the card.  I added a couple more rhinestone flowers, more liquid pearls, and more of the same papers.  The ink I used to stamp the sentiment is a really pale pink and was difficult to photograph--but I hope you can visualize it!

I really think this card turned out to be pretty cute!  It will most likely be sent to someone special this holiday season. :)  I hope you like my offering today, too!  I'd love for you to leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Great Impressions: Pink Easter Lilies

Hi, friends!  It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to share some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Since Easter is earlier this year, I'm sharing an elegant Easter card with you today.  Take a peek...

I stamped the image, G452 Easter Lily, and water colored it.  I added some sponging around the edges of the image panel, then distressed it and added some glitter for a bit more texture, too.

To accent the image, I added a bow with a fake flower in the center.  I kept it all pink, wanting to keep my colors simple.

I didn't add a sentiment to this card, because I think that if it doesn't get used at Easter this year, it might be used for a birthday or just because card, too!  I hope you like it, and I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

MHKDesigns: Easter Blessings

It's time for a new release at MHKDesigns and the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop has been stocked with the new digital stamp set and digital paper packs!  Today we are showcasing the *NEW* Easter Blessings set.  Take a peek at what I made...

I decided to decorate a treat box to show off one of the fun frames and sentiments from the Easter Blessings set.  I added a POP of color with some paper blooms and rhinestones, but kept the digital elements black and white.

To tie in the pink from the body of the box, I added a pink seam binding bow to the handle.  I think this is SO fun, and it will be a pretty Easter gift come the holiday!  What do you think?  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

So, now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...

Inspired By Stamping: Easter Bunnies

Hi, friends!  It's time for another release for Inspired By Stamping, and we have some GORGEOUS stamps to share with you in the next few days!  Today we're sharing creations made with the *NEW* Easter Bunnies set!  Take a peek at my creation...

I decided to make a notebook to go in an Easter basked! :)  I first stamped the darling bunny image from the *NEW* Easter Bunnies set and then watercolored it.  I added some glitter to the eggs and bunny tails for extra shine and texture.

I heat embossed a sentiment from the *NEW* Easter Bunnies set directly onto the notebook.  I used a light pink powder to POP off the magenta of the notebook.

As a finishing touch, I added some ribbon from the Christmas Ribbon Collection and a small pink paper flower to the top of the notebook.

This was super fun project to make, and I think it turned out super darling!  I can't wait to make more of these for gift giving this Easter!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you so much for stopping by, friends!  This completes our January release, so grab all these *NEW* sets today!  I'll be back soon with another creation using fabulous stamps from Inspired By Stamping!  For more inspiration, make sure to head over to Joanna's blog for a list of those who are sharing their creations today, too!  Until later, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
