Paper Sweeties Challenge - May 2017 Anything goes!

Hello, friends, and happy May! I am excited to share with you that I am going to be a guest for Paper Sweeties from May through July! Debbie was sweet enough to ask me back, and I am thrilled to get to work with her and the gals on this team again for a few months! It's time for the May monthly challenge, and there is a lovely photo inspiration for you. Take a peek...

I was totally inspired by those beautiful blooms and vintage looking buttons. I decided to use the Pretty Posies stamps and Pretty Posies Sweet Cuts dies to create my card. Here it is...

Debbie was kind enough to allow me to use the *SOON TO BE RELEASED* Scallop Circle Sweet Cuts dies on this card, as well! These will be MUST HAVES once they are released in a few weeks!

Some dry embossing, faux stitching, ribbon, and a sentiment from the Somewhere Over the Rainbow stamp set finish off this card. I hope you like it! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

That's all for me, friends!  Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by!  I hope you come and join in the fun with us this month, and don't forget to check out the other DT makes!

Here's you list~

I'll be back later this month with some more Paper Sweeties creations!
Our release starts on the 14th, so don't forget to check out the Paper Sweeties blog for details starting that day!

HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

MHKDesigns: Introducing Realistic Roses!

Hello, friends!  It is time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I have some super fun sets and papers coming your way!  This month, we're releasing sets that can be used year round--including a masculine set--and I hope you grab them for your stash!  Today we are featuring the *NEW*...

I decided to make two cards with this gorgeous set because I just had to see what these gorgeous roses looked like in both yellow (my favorite!) and pink!  Take a peek...

I started by printing the panels, using the image from the Realistic Roses set and two different sentiments.  I then water colored the roses.

After I water colored the images, I put the panels through a dry embossing folder, added some sponging to the edges, and finished these off with some glitter and sequins.

I really adore the way these cards turned out, and I hope you do, as well!  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

And now, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...

MHKDesigns: Thankful Thoughts

Hello, friends!  It is time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I have some super fun sets and papers coming your way!  There are a few "anytime" sets, and we're also looking ahead to a few fall holidays this month!  I hope you grab them for your stash!  Today we are featuring the *NEW*...

Take a peek at my creation...

I decided to use the cornucopia image from the Thankful Thoughts set as my focal image on this card.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir markers, fussy cut it out, and layered it on top of a couple of stitched circle die cut pieces.  The sentiment, from the same set, was printed onto vellum before adding it to the card.

I paired this set with paper from the Glorious Garden paper pack and some kraft card that I dry embossed and sponged with brown ink. Some basic twine, a purple button, and a few purple rhinestones finished off the card.  I like the brightness I achieved with this creation, and I hope you like it, too!  Please do let me know your thoughts in the comments below! :)

And now, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...

Paper Sweeties: 4th Birthday Celebration!

Hi, all!  I'm super excited to be participating in the 4th Birthday Celebration for Paper Sweeties today!  Thank you to Debbie for inviting me to join in with the fun, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her sweet company!

I chose to go CAS for my creation.  I used some fun stamps and embellishments from the Paper Sweeties store.  Take a peek at the final product...

I used the Happy Cake Day set, Happy Cake Day Sweet Cuts dies, and Marshmallow Sequins for this fun card.  The images were colored in with Glaze gel pen and glitter.  I kept the colors simple for the WOW factor off of all that white space.

A bit of dry embossing and faux stitching, along with a twine and button anchor, finish off this birthday card.  I think it's super cute, and I hope you like it, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

For more inspiration, check out the whole hop~

That's all for me today, friends!  I hope you hop over to Paper Sweeties and grab these fun products!  Take a bit of time to join in the fun with this celebration, as well!  I'll be back later this month with more paper crafted creations.  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
