MHKDesigns: So Grateful

Hi, friends! I hope your November treated you well! Mine started out a bit rough, but it got better! I am back today to share about my month and a digital mixed media, triple time stamped card and I made using products from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop. Take a peek...

I am extra grateful for a lot of things in my life today. I had to undergo emergency surgery at the end of October and the recovery took up about half of November. I am so grateful to everyone who helped me during that time, so I thought I'd share a card with a thankful theme! :) This card uses a sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts digital stamp set and images from the I've Been Framed, Chicken In, and Fabulously Fall digital stamp sets.

I printed the panel I created in Photoshop three times so that I could die cut them to create a triple time stamped focal panel. A few pearls and paper leaves finished this off. I LOVE the way it turned out! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all I have for you today, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by! I always love to hear from you, so please do let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Don't forget to head over to the MHKDesigns blog for more inspiration and join in our *NEW* challenge tomorrow for your chance at winning some digital goodies from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends!

MHKDesigns: Pretty As A Pitcher

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the February 2017 Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!  I have 5 fabulous sets to share this month, along with one paper pack.  I just know you will LOVE all the creations that my team and I have to share, as well!  Today's set is called...

And here is my card~

This image was colored in with a combination of implements.  I used Wink of Stella pens for the metallic portions, glitter gel pens for the roses and some leaves, and a blue water based marker for the scroll accents.  The sentiment was added over the image after it was printed onto vellum.  A few flowers and leaves accent the sentiment.  The base was prepped with paper from the *NEW* Rosy Posy paper pack before the focal panel was added.

Keeping the image as a larger focal image definitely works on this card, I think!  I love the addition of the vellum and flowers, as well. I hope you like my offering today, and I would love for you to leave me your thoughts about this creation in the comments below!

And now, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...

MHKDesigns: Easter Blessings

It's time for a new release at MHKDesigns and the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop has been stocked with the new digital stamp set and digital paper packs!  Today we are showcasing the *NEW* Easter Blessings set.  Take a peek at what I made...

I decided to decorate a treat box to show off one of the fun frames and sentiments from the Easter Blessings set.  I added a POP of color with some paper blooms and rhinestones, but kept the digital elements black and white.

To tie in the pink from the body of the box, I added a pink seam binding bow to the handle.  I think this is SO fun, and it will be a pretty Easter gift come the holiday!  What do you think?  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

So, now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...

Great Impressions: Love Sentiment

Hi, friends!  It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to share some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  We are currently sponsoring the Aud Sentiments "Love Sentiment" challenge, so I'm sharing the card I made for that challenge with you today...

I used a *NEW* sentiment today--H280 Love & Happiness.  I LOVE how large this sentiment is, so I just stamped it onto vellum, then colored in the hearts with a red glitter gel pen for some color and shine.  I attached it to some patterned paper with staples so that you don't see the pesky adhesive line.

I decided to keep the embellishments simple, so a single paper rose (thank you, Cohenna!), a red glittery foam heart, and a few black rhinestones were added to the side. A few green leaves were used to make the flower look more real and add a POP of extra color.

I did some fun angled layering to create more of an eye catching design, and it looks exactly what I was hoping for!  I hope you like it, too!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know your thoughts!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join the Aud Sentiment challenge, as well as our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
