MHKDesigns: October/November Challenge

Hello, everyone!  I am back today with another card for our new challenge over at MHKDesigns!  We have a lovely monochrome holiday photo/color inspiration for you this month, and I can't wait to see what you create with it!  Take a look at the inspiration...

And here's my take on this challenge~

I watercolored the image from the *NEW* Wonderful Wreath set then added a sentiment from the Fruit Borders set over the top on vellum.  A few gold rhinestones add more shine.

I gussied up the card base with some paper from the Deck the Halls paper pack, then added a doily and some fun felt ribbon to the top.  I rounded the corners of this card to mirror the roundness of the wreath and sequins, as well.  I love this card, and hope you agree that it's lovely!  I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on the comments below! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you hop over to join in our monthly challenge at MHKDesigns!  There are prizes for each one, and you can use any products you'd like! :) Don't forget to leave some love with the other gals on this wonderful DT, too!

The Stamps of Life: Flamingo Birthday Party

Hi, friends!  I've got a super fun card to share with you today.  It uses the *NEW* flamingo products from The Stamps of Life, and it's perfect for the beginning of summer!  Take a peek...

The image was made using the flamingos2stamp set and the Flamingo Die Set.  I kept the colors simple and just added some glitter, felt daisies, and seam binding ribbon to accent this fun feathered friend!

The sentiment is from the sayings4flamingos set.  I think it's PERFECT for a pink birthday card, don't you? A few rhinestones and patterned paper dress up this part of the card.

I am SUPER pleased with the way this card turned out!  I hope you like it, too!  I'd love to hear your opinion, so please do leave me a comment below!

I'd like to enter this card into these fabulous challenges~

Great Impressions: Abundant Blessings

Hello, friends!  It's a special Monday--I've got my weekly card using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions store, and it's one for our current sponsorship!  We're sponsoring The Shabby Tea Room, and the inspiration is just beautiful!  The theme is "Thankful" and there is an awesome photo for your to be inspired by, too!  Check it out...

Isn't that just fabulously FALL?!  I love the neutral colors, the pine cones, the texture...all of it!  Take a peek at what I was inspired to create...

I stamped G22 Pine Cone Bough on the top and bottom of a piece of kraft cardstock to create a frame for my sentiment.  I then colored in the berries with gold Wink of Stella pen and then colored over that with a Sakura glitter gel pen.  The shine is SO pretty!

Going along with the photo and the "Thankful" theme, I added C384 Abundant Blessings to the card.  I stamped it onto some textured cream cardstock, then added some brown, felt, stitched ribbon to the side.

I really love these neutral tones and fun textures together!  I hope you like my card, too.  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
