Inspired By Stamping: Favorite Father

Hello, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by!  Today I've got a card using some fabulous products from the Inspired By Stamping store with a monochrome color scheme and a Father's Day theme.  Take a look...

The sentiment was stamped in two shades of green using two different stamps sets--Big Wonderful and Happy Sentiments.  I then die cut the white card using the Fancy Labels 3 dies.  The dark green mat piece was also cut with the Fancy Labels 3 dies, and some washi tape was added for more texture.

I added some different patterned paper banners to the sentiment piece to add a bit more interest.  I kept them in the same color family, with a hint of tan.

I popped my created piece onto the card base using dimensional foam.  I also added some enamel stars and a fun wood veneer arrow to finish off the card.  I think this turned out great!  What about you?  I'd love to hear what you think in the comments below!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I love hearing what you think of my creations, so please do leave a comment, and then go grab these products from the Inspired By Stamping store!  I'll be back soon with another creation for you all!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Inspired By Stamping: Seaside + Big Wonderful

Hiya, stamping friends! It's time for another day of the May release at the Inspired By Stamping online store! Today, we are showcasing the *NEW* Seaside stamp set.  This set is AMAZING--perfect for summer!  LOTS of beach images, and great for scene building!  Come and look at my card...

I created a border along the bottom of the focal panel using some images from the *NEW* Seaside stamp set and a few brown inks.  I added some dry embossing to mirror the sea grass and add texture, as well.

The sentiment is from the Big Wonderful stamp set--didn't I tell you on Monday that this set was super versatile?! I LOVE it!

I distressed the panel edges and added a few bits of metal bling to finish the card up.  This will be going to my fabulous husband for Father's Day. :)  I absolutely LOVE how this turned out--what do you think?  Let me know in a comment below!

That's all for me today!  Hop over to the Inspired By Stamping online store to grab this new set, and take some time to visit the Inspired By Stamping blog for more inspiration, too!  I'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration using more *NEW* products!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping!

Guest DT @ Red Rubber Designs: "S"

Hello, friends! I'm here today as a guest for Red Rubber Inspirationals, and I've got a fun challenge for you!  My theme is, "S". The challenge: To use something, ANYTHING, that starts with the letter "S" on your creation! Just make sure that at least one item on your card, scrapbook page, ATC, altered project, starts with "S" and you can link it up below! I've made two lovely cards for this challenge using some amazing products from the Red Rubber Designs store, come and see my first one...

This is an A2 card and the base was created with white cardstock and some weathered wood patterned paper.  The image and sentiment are from the Light the Path stamp set.  As you can see, I added STITCHING, a SEASHELL, and a SEA theme to satisfy my challenge parameters.

I just love this gorgeous set!  The sketchy style of the stamps is beautiful and perfect for all kinds of craft projects.  I chose to use red, white, blue, and black to keep with my sea/nautical theme.  I love the way this card turned out!

My next card is a little bit more SIMPLE in style. ;)  I kept it one layer with minimal embellishments this time.  Come and take a peek...

I used another A2 card base for this SIMPLE card, this time using kraft cardstock.  I stamped the SAILBOAT image and SCRIPTURE sentiments from the Peace Be Still stamp set in varying shades of brown to keep it mostly monochrome.  I added some SEQUINS, liquid pearls, twine, and a SHINY button from my stash to finish off this SEA themed card.

I really super like this card!  This fabulous image can be used for so many purposes, and especially wonderful for masculine cards.  I have a hard time with masculine cards, so any help I can get is perfect!  What do you think of these cards?  I'd love to hear in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope that you hop over to the Red Rubber Inspirational post and join in this current challenge!  I'll see you soon with more crafty goodness.  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

Daydream Designs: Star Friends + Wednesday Wisdom

Yep, I'm back again!  Today I'm sharing another creation using some elegant digis from the Daydream Designs store to share with you today.  This card is destined for a fabulous friend.  I'm not sure which one yet, but I'm sure it will land in the lap of the right person!  Come and look...

Here's the card~

Daydream Design's products used:
Easter Morning (paper)

I decided to go monochromatic with this card.  The faux stitching was done with a metallic gel pen from Sakura.  Instead of using digital images to compliment this fabulous sentiment, I chose to have it stand along with minimal embellishments.  I really feel that the result is sheer elegance.

I believe that we are all brothers and sisters here on this earth.  Because of this fact, I believe that we need to try to get along and to touch those spirits we can reach specifically with our personality.  When we act like good friends, love follows.  Unity abounds and lives become better.  Go and be a better friend today.  That's my goal--I hope you'll join me!

That's all for me today, friends!  I hope you go and grab these fabulous digi elements and take some time to browse the rest of the store!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you!

You Inspire Me!

Hi, friends!  Whew!  First day of school was a bit crazy.  It started with an interesting doctors appointment that we won't get into and ended in a nap.  In between, I did get a lot of school work done.  Tomorrow is the first day I actually have to be IN class, so there's that.  Oh, and I made some time for a little crafty therapy!  Come and take a look!

Here's my creation~

A close up of the stamped image~
Sorry it's so dark--I couldn't show the shine when I tried
to make the white cardstock white in the photo...

For these fabulous challenges~

(Middle vertical row.)

I've used the I Love You Because and Delicate Doilies II stamp sets from Inspired By Stamping, baker's twine from my stash, Stickles in Diamond and Liquid Pearls in Silver Pearl by Ranger, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and all other supplies are from Stampin' Up!.

This card was made for a very special friend going through a very difficult time.  I didn't want it to be your ordinary "get well" or "thinking of you" card because she is very extraordinary!  I think she'll like it...I hope so, at least!

That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you are inspired to create something for these fabulous challenges!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
