Unicorn Birthday

Hi, friends! Thanks for stopping by today! I've been having fun getting out supplies that I haven't used and a few new things, too. For today's card, I used a new to me image from the Unicorn Birthday digital stamp set by Bugaboo. Take a peek...

I colored the sweet image with Spectrum Noir markers, then fussy cut it out. I used stamps and dies from The Stamps of Life to create the sentiment, then added some glitter gems, glitter paper, and textured ribbon for a bit more texture. The focal panel was added to a card base prepped with some pink paper pierced patterned paper (whew--how's that for alliteration?!) with a lavender mat.

I totally adore this creation, and hope you do, too! I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Inspired By Stamping: Orange Poppies

Hello, Inspired By Stamping friends!  I'm here today to share a card I made for a dear friend of mine recently.  I used one of my absolute favorite stamp sets, so I hope you love it as much as I do!  Take a peek...

I started by stamping the poppy bunch image from the Flower of the Month: Poppies stamp set.  I colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers, then added some glitter for shine and texture.

I then added a sentiment from the Flower of the Month: Poppies set to the panel, a few enamel dots, and some paper piercing.  I then added some black matting so that the focal panel would POP off the card base.

I added some orange polka dot paper, and decorated the inside with another image and sentiment from the Flower of the Month: Poppies set.  I kept the inside image uncolored so that it felt more clean once a message was written.

I gave this card to a friend of mine who recently lost her husband at the age of 33.  My hope is that it brought a little sunshine into her life.  I hope that each of you takes some time to let your loved ones know how much you card today, as well.  Never take them for granted--you never know how long you will be allowed to hold them.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  That's all I have for you today, but I'll be back soon with more inspiration using fabulous products from the Inspired By Stamping online store.  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

All Kinds of Awesome!

Hi, everyone!  Hope you've been having a fabulous week so far!  I'm back today to share a fun card using the *NEW* pallette4mirror stamp from The Stamps of Life, using a FUN technique!  Take a peek...

I started by inking the pallette4mirror with Banana ink, then used the flowers2diefor set to "stamp" the flowers.  I just stamped the flowers directly onto the panel--without ink on the flowers.  You can also ink the other image first.  To see what that would look like, see my card HERE.  I cut the panel down and added a sentiment and some other embellishments.

I then just layered that panel onto a card base, and voila!  I think this turned out super fun--the colors are so bright and summery!  I hope you like it, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

Great Impressions: December Challenge

Hello again, dear friends!  It's time for another monthly challenge at Great Impressions, and our challenge is SUPER easy--it's ANYTHING GOES!  We'd love it if you linked up with an image and/or sentiment from Great Impressions, too!  Check out my creation...

For my card, I used F463 Winter Bicycle and D512 Joy.  I decided to just stamp them in traditional Christmas colors and not do anything else.  I LOVE the bold look it gave these stamped images!

All I did to highlight them was add a bit of paper piercing, a bit of ribbon, and then add the focal panel to a card base prepped with some patterned paper and a doily quarter!  EASY! I really LOVE this card--I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Paper Sweeties September Release Countdown!

Hi, friends!  It's time for another monthly release for Paper Sweeties, and we have some SUPER fun *NEW* products to share with you this time around!  They'll all be available for purchase starting the 15th.  I decided to go a bit luxe on this one and add gold...edible gold seems to be kind of trendy right now, right?!  And who doesn't like dipped fruit?  Take a peek...

I started by creating the fruit pieces by using stamped images from the *NEW* Homegrown stamp set.  I then added "gold dipping" by cutting out pieces of gold glitter paper with the help of the *NEW* Homegrown Sweet Cuts dies. Some rhinestones were added for more sparkle.

Next, I added a sentiment from the I Love You stamps set.  I stamped it on vellum, then stapled it to the card.

Some paper piercing and a bit more gold glitter paper finished off this fun CAS card!  I LOVE the way it turned out--I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

In addition to the awesome products I've shared today, there's also a super fun kit that Debbie's got for you to order this month--check it out!  It's totally delicious!!!

Washi Friendship

Hello, friends!  I've got a fun card to share with you today--this one using the *NEWEST* monthly card kit from The Stamps of Life!  I just love these fun kits!  They come with SO many fun and fabulous products! :)  Take a peek at my creation...

Fun, right?!  I used the "Friend" die to create a main focal point, then created a base for it using some Powdered Sugar cardstock, the stamps from the card kit, Grape ink, Cornflower ink, and Banana ink.  I added some piercing along the edge as a frame, along with some jewels and washi tape from the kit.

The card base, made from Powdered Sugar cardstock, was gussied up with some patterned paper from the kit, and voila!  I am totally in LOVE with the color scheme and products I got this month!  If you haven't heard of these fun monthly kits, check them out HERE.  Also, leave me a comment to let me know what you think of my creation. :)
