Mother's Day Gifts & Cards

Happy Mother's Day! I originally got this poem to use for teacher appreciation week, but I felt that it describes mothers (aka ALL women) to a tee! So I made one to frame for my mother and she's also getting a huge jar of M&Ms! Plus the card I made, of course! Hope you take the time to tell the women in your life that you are grateful for them!

VT Monthly Printables

So, in the post right before this, I talked about what VT (Visiting Teaching) is. Please reference that if you don't know to what I am referring. :) I wanted to help the sisters that I visit remember the monthly message until we came back again. Soooo....I bought each of them a 3.5"x5" picture frame and will now be printing them a small digitally scrapbooked printable each month for them to put in it! But, I wanted to share it with more people--so feel free to save these and use them! The blue/green one is from March and the yellow one is for April. I will make sure to post the new ones I make each month. :) Happy printing!

VT Easter Gifts

In our church, we have a program called Visiting Teaching (VT). Two sisters from our congregation will visit a few other sisters each month. This way we are able to make sure that everyone is doing well and to be able to help if any help is needed. Since this month is Easter, I decided to make them a special Easter gift. I didn't want it to be chocolate or anything that would be unremembered. I was sitting in my kitchen, smelling my new Gain dish soap (because it smells DELICIOUS) and a thought came to me. My husband thinks its a little corny, but I think it's cute! I made tags that say, "Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be made clean and GAIN eternal life." LOL! I think it's awesome! What do you think? Feel free to take the tags--their FREE! They measure 3"x3". The other side is a scripture about Jesus Christ from the Book of Mormon. I hope you take the time to make something for someone you love today! Happy crafting!!!

Living In Thanksgiving Daily

I recently discovered a wonderful short movie on my church's website (www.lds.org). It talks about living in thanksgiving daily. After thinking about it, I decided that I would want to be a person that could be considered living in thanksgiving daily.

Gratitude is s
o very important! If we appreciate someone, we should tell them! Above are some cards that I have made for a few people who've helped me recently. Details are shown because I grabbed out my glitter gel pens and just had to show off my shimmer!!!

ALSO...feel free to save this awesome printable and use it for whatever! I originally got it from another blog...The Fickle Pickle (isn't that name HILARIOUS?!). Hopefully they don't mind me sharing as it's FREE!!!

ANYWAY...I hope that you decide to living in thanksgiving daily and not just this time of year. Make some thank you cards today! Thank You are two of the most powerful words in the English language! AND as always...I do wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and happy stamping!
