MHKDesigns: With This Ring

It's time for a new release at MHKDesigns and the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop has been stocked with the new digital stamp set and digital paper packs!  Today we are showcasing the *NEW* With This Ring set.  Take a peek at what I made...

This set is full of vintage wedding goodness!  I used this beautiful image of a groom giving his bride her wedding band from the With This Ring set for my elegant creation.  I did some selective coloring with a gold Wink of Stella pen.  I went with a black, white, cream, and gold scheme to keep with the Victorian theme.  Some pearls and lovely paper flowers accent the focal portion of my card.

A black doily, gold trimmed cream satin ribbon and shimmery patterned paper finished this creation off.  I really love the way it turned out--how about you?  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

So, now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...

Great Impressions/CutCardStock Ladies' Night Blog Hop!

Oh, yes, it's Ladies' Night--oh what a night! ;)  The Great Impression team is hopping this month with the CutCardStock team to share creations using products from both the Great Impressions and CutCardStock online stores...with a feminine theme!

You should have arrived here from the CutCardStock blog.  If not, start at the Great Impressions blog to make sure you see all the links and fabulous inspiration!  Take a peek at what I created...

I chose to make a box card!  The base was made with Curious Metallic Violette cardstock and jazzed up with some Silk Glitter Opulent Opal cardstock.  The image is C414 Cameo.  I stamped it with purple ink onto Classic Crest cardstock before punching it out and matting it with Curious Metallic Lime cardstock.

The sentiment is C452 You're Fabulous.  It was also stamped in purple onto Classic Crest cardstock and then matted onto Curious Metallic Lime cardstock.  Some ribbon was added as an anchor.

The sides and inside were glammed up with flowers made from Curious Metallic White Gold and Curious Metallic Lime cardstocks.  The butterflies are made with more Curious Metallic Violette cardstock and Silk Glitter Opulent Opal cardstock.  The leaves are all punched from Curious Metallic Botanic cardstock.  I LOVE the beautiful shine this creation has--it's amazing in real life!

I decided to go with pearls as my accents.  I LOVE pearls, and I really think they are perfect for a feminine theme!  Plus, they go with everything, right?!  I really think this creation turned out beautifully, and hope you agree!  I can't wait to hear what you think in the comments below!

Your next stop on the hop is Annie's blog!  That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Great Impressions: The Sweetest Gift

Happy Monday, friends!  I'm back with another creation that uses some super fun stamps from the Great Impressions online store.  Today I'm sharing a Valentine for a best friend.  Take a peek...

I kept it simple with just a a fun sentiment--E882 The Sweetest.  I punched it out and layered it with some black cardstock.  A few flowers and rhinestones bring your eye directly to this darling sentiment!

To the top of the card, I added a doily, some velvet ribbon, baker's twine, and a crystal button.  I like the girly feel--this is definitely a perfect card for your best girlfriend!

Some patterned paper and faux sitching help to add a bit more to the Valentine theme of this card.  I chose a shimmery white cardstock for the base to add even more shine and texture.  I LOVE it, but it will have to be a hand delivered card because of those flowers.  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Paper Sweeties November Release Countdown!

Hi, friends!  It's time for another monthly release for the Paper Sweeties Boutique, and we have some SUPER FABULOUS holiday products to share with you this month!  My offering today is an elegant New Year's inspired card.  Take a peek...

This set, the *NEW* Days Until acrylic stamp set, is FABULOUS for any count down--it even comes with numbers!  I decided to steer clear of Christmas and instead do a New Year's card!  Because...well, we count down to the New Year, too! :)  I stamped the frame onto vellum, heat embossed it with gold powder, and then die cut it with the *NEW* Days Until Sweet Cuts die set.  I head embossed the sentiment onto kraft card with silver powder and attached them all together.

For my accents, I chose to punch and layer some snowflake pieces together, then added some rhinestones to the centers.  The sparkle, texture, and shine really help this card with it's aspirations of elegance. :)

I really LOVE the way this card turned out!  The different papers look awesome together, and I think it's SUPER fun that this set can be used for any type of holiday!  I'm thinking the next time I use it might be for a birthday month count down celebration! ;)  I hope you like my card, too!  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

That's all for me today, friends!  I'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration using *NEW* products from Paper Sweeties!  Make sure to take a peek at the inspiration from the rest of the team, too...

Here's your hop list~
