MHKDesigns: Skating By

Hi, friends!  It's time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy shop, and we have SIX sets to share with you, PLUS a couple of beautiful paper packs, as well!  Today we are showcasing the...

Skating By Digital Stamp Set

I think the image in this set is hilarious, I don't know why!  I think it's because of Miss Bossy-Pants off to the right, lol!  I decided that the sentiments needed to have a more elegant feel, and reflect both Miss Bossy-Pants and poor Master Fall-Down.  The cursive font for Miss Bossy-Pants and the block font for Master Fall-Down.  Do you like their names?! ;)  Anyway, I decided to feature Master Fall-Down on a holiday tag...check it out...

I made the tag base out of some paper from the Stenciled Roses Paper Pack.  The image from the Skating By set was colored, then Master Fall-Down was punched out and layered.  Some cheesecloth adds more texture behind this poor fellow.

The sentiment was added to the top of the tag.  I tied it onto some satin ribbon with gold elastic cording.  A green button was added for a bit more color variety to match the image.

I really LOVE the way this tag turned out!  I am not usually a tag person, but this came together rather nicely, if I do say so myself!  I'd love to hear your thoughts!  Please leave me a comment below to tell them to me! :)

For more inspiration using this gorgeous set, please check out the other gals on my team who are also showcasing this set!

Paper Sweeties November Release Rewind!

Hi, friends!  It's time for another monthly release for the Paper Sweeties Boutique, and we have some SUPER FABULOUS holiday products to share with you this month!  My offering today is as altered tin filled with fun gift tags.  Take a peek...

I used the *NEW* Stitched Tags #3 Sweet Cuts die set for the tag bases, the Fun Shapess Sweet Cuts dies for the stars, Joy Sweet Cuts dies for the Joy sentiment, and the Snow Friends Sweet Cuts dies for the hearts.  I added Strawberry, Marshmallow, and Grape sequins for texture, sparkle, and shine. :)

Some Licorice Baker's Twine is how I'll attach my tags to gifts.  I added either washi tape or glitter paper to each tag to help the die cut shape stand out a bit more from the patterned paper present die.  And they all fit perfectly in the cute tin I gussied up with the same products to hold them in!

That's all for me today, friends!  I'll be back next month with more inspiration using *NEW* products from Paper Sweeties!  Make sure to take a peek at the inspiration from the rest of the team, too...

Here's your hop list~

These products are available for purchase TODAY!

Don't forget about the November Card Kit!

Ho Ho Ho! Tag

Hi, friends!  I've got a fun and easy holiday tag idea for you today.  It's glittery, and uses traditional colors and fun products from The Stamps of Life!  Check it out...

I used the *NEW* Ho Ho Ho die set for my main sentiment.  I LOVE that the dies from The Stamps of Life come with shadow dies--it makes crafting doubly fun. :) This awesome patterned paper is from the Ho Ho Ho Collection Patterned Paper Pad.

The rest of the supplies for this tag came from the October Card Kit.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE receiving this kit each month--they ALWAYS surprise and delight me!  :)

I added glitter to the die cut sentiment for some festive sparkle and shine to finish this tag off.  I really adore it--and it was SUPER quick and easy to create!  I hope you like it, too!  Please leave me a comment to let me know your thoughts! :)

I'm entering this tag into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  That's all I have for now.  I'll be back soon with more crafty creations for your viewing pleasure.  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

The 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi, everyone!  I'm super excited to be participating with Paper Sweeties in The 25 Days of Christmas Tags progressive hop!  There's TONS of holiday tag inspiration coming your way, and the Paper Sweeties team has got some super fun ideas for you!

I decided to go with a blue, cream, kraft, and gold color scheme for my tag.  I LOVE these colors together--I think they are so elegant!  Take a peek at my final product...

This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas tree images.  It's from the Trim the Tree set.  I stamped the image onto vellum and embossed it in gold.  I then added white Glaze gel pen to the ornaments.  I die cut it with the coordinating die from the Trim the Tree Sweet Cuts die set and added another die cut tree behind it.  I added it to my tag--on top of some gold washi tape and patterned paper.  A small gold glitter enamel star topped off this fun tree.

The sentiment is a die cut from the Joy Sweet Cuts die set.  I die cut it out some kraft cardstock and some gold cardstock, then layered them together and added them to the tag with a gold glitter enamel heart.  It was added over some crocheted trim.  Some gold elastic cord and a cream button were added as more of an anchor for the sentiment.

Up top, I added some sequins from the *NEW* Snowflake Sequin Mix and some Frosting Seam Binding Ribbon.  I added the ribbon through some eyelets and made it into a hanging tag.  The sequins were added to the corner over a doily quarter that was added for texture.

I am very pleased with the final product!  I'm not sure what this tag will adorn this holiday season, but I think it will be something really special! :)  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends!  For more Paper Sweeties inspiration, check out the rest of the DT gals who are participating in this fun hop...

I'll be back soon with more Paper Sweeties inspiration for you--so stay tuned!  I hope you have lots of fun hopping around today and for the rest of this event, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)
