MHKDesigns: New Year Greetings

Hello, friends!  It is time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I have some super fun sets and papers coming your way!  There are a few "anytime" sets, and we're also looking ahead to a few winter holidays this month!  I hope you grab them for your stash!  Today we are featuring the *NEW*...

Nothing says "NEW YEAR" to me like confetti--so I decided to pair this set with some paper from the Twinkle Twinkle Little Dots paper pack.  Take a peek at my card...

I watercolored the image from the *NEW* New Year Greetings set, then added some texture and sparkle with some glitter gel pen.  I kept the colors frosty, with just a hint of red. :)

I added some punched and layered snowflakes, washi tapes, rhienstones, enamel dots, and a banner sentiment from the *NEW* New Year Greetings set to finish this card off.  I think this is super festive and fun, and hope you agree!  Please leave a comment below to let me know your thoughts! :)

And now, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...
  1. Comment here on the MHKDesigns blog.
  2. Comment on each DT member's blog.
  3. Join our MHKDesigners and Friends Facebook group and comment there.
I'll be choosing comments randomly from all these places after the release is over, and the authors of those comments will be our winners!  So, the best way to win is to comment every day!  We LOVE the feedback you give us! :)  Here's the list of blogs for you to visit today...

Inspired By Stamping: Woodland Scene

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another card made using fabulous stamps from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  This time I created a sweet woodland scene.  Take a peek...

I started by stamping the trees from the Winter Friends set.  I watercolored them in, then added some "grass" with glitter paper.  I stamped the darling rabbit from the Winter Friends set onto white cardstock with gray ink and the deer from the same set onto brown paper with darker brown ink.  I added some Glaze and glitter gel pen, then fussy cut them out and added them to the card.  A few flower shaped sequins with liquid pearl centers and some glittery clouds finish off the scene.

The sentiment was stamped directly onto the focal panel and comes from the Friends stamp set.  A few hearts from the Winter Friends set and a couple of glittery clouds highlight it.  Lastly, a tiny bird from the Winter Friends set was stamped and watercolored to finish the top of this panel.

I then matted the focal panel with black cardstock and added it to a card base prepped with some fun patterned paper.  I really like the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you like my offering for today, and I hope that you go grab these beautiful products from the Inspired By Stamping store!  Also, take a little time to create something today--you know you want to!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
