Button Flower

Soooooo....my youngest sister, Claire, recently asked me to make her a journal. Here is the finished project! It was tons of fun to make! The stem and leaves of the flower are ribbon...and the flower is of course made out of buttons! She loves it and I am really happy with how it turned out! Hopefully you love it too--and I hope you make something awesome today! Happy crafting!!!

CAS Super fun!!!

So....I'm posting lots of cards today!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE CAS style cards. CAS means clean and simple...which makes these cards quick, easy and elegant. They were super simple to make. I stamped the chandelier image first. Then I took some glitter paper and used my Stampin' Up! scallop edger punch to make the strips of embellishment. Next, I stamped the sentiment (Toujour means always in French). I accented the stamped images with a glitter gel pen and finished the cards off with some rhinestones. I LOVE the effect! My favorite is the purple. :) What do you think?! Hope you get some time to make something today! Happy stamping!!!

Sisters

I love my sisters! There are 7 of us girls (and 2 boys...) and so we have a lot of fun! The other day I decided to make cards for the four sisters that live nearby (as I had sent out cards to the two other ones earlier). Here are the pictures! I like to make cards that fit the personality of the person, so that's why they are all so different. The reason there are close ups of the circle one is because I wanted to show the detail that the glitter and shading added to the intricacy of the stamped image. :) Thanks for looking--I hope you take the time to make something for someone you love today!!! Happy stamping!

All That Glitters is Gold

I used to dislike gold jewelry. But then I discovered how beautiful it is with brown and white and cream. So, here are some samples of jewelry with just a hint of gold and a lot of gold! I hope it inspires you to create something different today! Happy crafting!

Become Aware

As I have previously mentioned in earlier blogs, I work with children who have special needs. Since April is Autism Awareness month, I made some sparkling things to wear.for support. This year we have Rainbow Day, so I made some rainbow bracelets. I also made a blue keychain for my purse for year round. What cause do you support? I hope you take some time today to show your support for whatever cause is important to you!
