VT Monthly Printables

So, in the post right before this, I talked about what VT (Visiting Teaching) is. Please reference that if you don't know to what I am referring. :) I wanted to help the sisters that I visit remember the monthly message until we came back again. Soooo....I bought each of them a 3.5"x5" picture frame and will now be printing them a small digitally scrapbooked printable each month for them to put in it! But, I wanted to share it with more people--so feel free to save these and use them! The blue/green one is from March and the yellow one is for April. I will make sure to post the new ones I make each month. :) Happy printing!

VT Easter Gifts

In our church, we have a program called Visiting Teaching (VT). Two sisters from our congregation will visit a few other sisters each month. This way we are able to make sure that everyone is doing well and to be able to help if any help is needed. Since this month is Easter, I decided to make them a special Easter gift. I didn't want it to be chocolate or anything that would be unremembered. I was sitting in my kitchen, smelling my new Gain dish soap (because it smells DELICIOUS) and a thought came to me. My husband thinks its a little corny, but I think it's cute! I made tags that say, "Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be made clean and GAIN eternal life." LOL! I think it's awesome! What do you think? Feel free to take the tags--their FREE! They measure 3"x3". The other side is a scripture about Jesus Christ from the Book of Mormon. I hope you take the time to make something for someone you love today! Happy crafting!!!

Sparkles

I love this bracelet! I didn't make it for any specific reason, but I just wanted to throw something together quickly to wear with a dressy black and white top I own. So, this is the finished product! The little charm was an after thought--a reminder that even though we may go through dark times in our life, there are also a lot of light and happy times as well! I HOPE it inspires you to make something for yourself or someone you love! Happy crafting!

Printable Scriptures

Here are a few printables that I made to frame and put on my long shelf in my dining room. Feel free to take them and use them--they're free! They will print out as 8"x10". Just right click on the image and save it! Happy printing!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Hoppin' down the bunny trail! Here is a sweet treat basket that we made at my last workshop. The die cut is from Stampin' Up! as are the stamps. :) I absolutely LOVE how it turned out--and it's quick and easy to make! Happy upcoming Easter! I hope that the love of Christ touches your hearts and enters your home this wonderful season! Happy crafting!

Button Flower

Soooooo....my youngest sister, Claire, recently asked me to make her a journal. Here is the finished project! It was tons of fun to make! The stem and leaves of the flower are ribbon...and the flower is of course made out of buttons! She loves it and I am really happy with how it turned out! Hopefully you love it too--and I hope you make something awesome today! Happy crafting!!!

CAS Super fun!!!

So....I'm posting lots of cards today!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE CAS style cards. CAS means clean and simple...which makes these cards quick, easy and elegant. They were super simple to make. I stamped the chandelier image first. Then I took some glitter paper and used my Stampin' Up! scallop edger punch to make the strips of embellishment. Next, I stamped the sentiment (Toujour means always in French). I accented the stamped images with a glitter gel pen and finished the cards off with some rhinestones. I LOVE the effect! My favorite is the purple. :) What do you think?! Hope you get some time to make something today! Happy stamping!!!
