Re-Discovering Stamps!

So, I have been trying to use supplies and stamps that I haven't used for a while. I was looking through old Stampin' Success magazines and saw the set that I received at a Mini-Convention years ago, and it made me want to pull it out. Luckily, I hadn't gotten rid of it!!! Here is the card I made with the set. I love it! The set is awesome--big circles of dots or lines and then lined flowers with two sentiments...neither of which I used on this card, but I love them! A Simple Tree

I love stamps that let me make quick and easy beautiful images. This set is one that I wanted, but it was from a mini catalog and it wasn't to be. Enter garage sales! This is the first card I made with it. ;) I highlighted some of the image with my clear glitter gel pen (which seems to be my new favorite accessory) to give the card a little pizzazz.  I hope this inspires you to create something today! VINTAGE FIND!!!

I went garage sale-ing today and I found two tubes of vintage glass glitter for 10¢!!! Champagne pink and light cerulean blue. I'll be using them soon!!! Happy crafting!

I have been looking for this stamp set for SIX YEARS! And I found it...at a garage sale!!! Here is the first card I've made with it. I used my clear glitter gel pen to accent the lined images. Enjoy and happy stamping!!!!!

Let the summer creating begin!

I kicked off my summer today by creating some beautiful things with a beautiful friend. :) I'll be showing them to you in the next few days. I wanted to start with this awesome cannister. I bought it at a garage sale for 25¢ and it needed help. It had some magazine cutouts on it...not so cute. Anyway, I decided to use some of my vast supply of paper and came up with this! I adhered it with Elmer's white glue (aka faux mod podge) and it took a total of thirty minutes to make. Each side is different. I think it turned out fabulously! I hope this summer inspires you to create something new! Happy crafting!
