OLW #62 Personalize it!

Hello, stamping friends! I have been having lots of fun with my baby wipe ink pads (more info here) and I used this technique for this first card. I made it for my sister, Maddy, who LOVES this technique and loves to stamp with me. :) So, it's a "just because" card! Stamps are from Stampin' Up! and Basic Grey and reinkers are all from Stampin' Up! (I had to include a picture of the "ink pad" because it looks way cool!)

After I made THAT card, I wanted to create a set of cards for myself to use "just because". And I named them... The pictures below are the results: I just love the layout of these cards! My favorite are the top three, but I think all of them turned out beautifully. :) Stamps are from Basic Grey and We R Memory Keepers. Inks are all from Colorbox and all are chalk inks. :)

"Berry Lace"

"Chocolate Lace"

"Blueberry Lime Lace"

"Cherry Plum Lace"

"Burnt Citrus Lace"
Thanks for stopping by--I hope you're inspired to create some one layer cards today! Happy stamping!!!!!

Yeah...BOOKS!

Hello, friends! I have a confession to make. I have not been crafting as much as I need to...I have been READING! Yes! Reading! Not getting permanent stains on my hands from ink, not throwing paper scraps around my work area, I've had my nose in one of my paper friends! So, if you're a reader, too, hop on over to my book review blog HERE to see what I've been reading and see if it sparks your interest! Happy crafting, reading, or whatever floats your boat!!!!

PS: 2 down, 14 to go...reading wise. I hope I find time to craft! ;D

A Special BIRD-day Card... :)

I love card making...*sigh*. I wish I could do it ALL THE TIME, but that is just not feasible--I have to eat sometime! :D Anywho, I had a fabulous friend turn another year older and needed a card for her. Ta da! Here's the finished product! I have been trying to use my old stamp sets, punches and patterned paper more to make quick and simple yet elegant cards, and I feel that this meets those requirements (due to the pearls, which are just GORGEOUS). :) Hopefully this inspires you to create something today! Happy crafting!

It's time again...Christmas in July!!!!

Yes, it's that time again...CHRISTMAS IS JULY! I'm pretty sure that I've shared this card before, but I don't care! I finally had the time to make up more than one of these beauties with a wonderful friend, but I needed to use a different shade of red--so TECHNICALLY, it's new! :) Anyway, The laser cut image on the front is a sticker--yep! STICKER. My friend bought these on deep clearance and gave them to me and told me to "make something awesome." So, I think I came through...not to be TOO prideful. :) Anyway, I am a glitter queen, so glitter came into play. The only new thing on these cards (besides shade of red) is the inclusion of another sentiment on the inside. Hopefully this inspires you to make your Christmas cards this year--call me! Let's do it! Happy stamping!
