Going green...on a totally white day.

***WARNING: PHOTO HEAVY POST.***

Hello!  Yes, it is finally SPRING!  But not really, lol!  We've been snowed in from Church today!  Lucky for me as our internet was out yesterday.  It's now back on so I can share with you three cards I made for the Great Impressions monthly challenge which is themed "Going Green."  I LOVE GI stamps and so I couldn't just make one card, I had to make three!

Here's the first card I made~

Inside~

This card uses a fabulous silhouette image and fun and swirly sentiment by Great Impressions, patterned paper by Recollections, a grid stamp by Kaiser Kraft, bubble wrap (yep!), baker's twine from my stash and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!

Here's the second card I made~

This card uses a fun sentiment/image all in one by Great Impressions, a yellow Sakura glitter gel pen (daisy centers), and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Third and last card I made~

This card features another one of my favorite silhouette images from Great Impressions and a sweet sentiment by Great Impressions as well, a chicken wire texture stamp by Kaiser Kraft, bubble wrap (I LOVE using this stuff!), liquid pearls by Ranger, and the rest are supplies from Stampin' Up!.

52CCT: Ribbon & Bows

Do you like using ribbons and bows to create?  Well, I don't like making bows, but I'm getting better at it as I practice!  This week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown we'd like to see all your holiday creations garnished with ribbon and at least one bow!

Here's the challenge~

My card~

Details~

I've used a darling image by Pure Innocence, a sentiment by Papertrey Ink, rhinestones by Prima, patterned paper by DCWV, liquid pearls by Ranger, glitter gel pens by Sakura, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up! (yes--even that "punch" for my sentiment--see how to do it HERE).

This is my first time using a stamp like this that wasn't digital.  I bought it at my local craft store after Christmas at a steal and it was sitting there sad and unused--I had to play with it!  I adore paper piecing and so I did her coat and hat up with some liquid pearl accents and glitter gel pens.  I thought this image was great because not only do I have ribbon and a bow on my card, but the image has packages tied up with ribbons and bows as well!  I was really inspired by the colors in the inspiration photo as well--it got translated into this card!

Thanks for stopping by--please do join us!  And please also stop by and say hello to the other gals on the DT--they've got gorgeous creations to share with you as well!  Merry stamping, friends! :)

The last two...

I said I'd be back with the other 2 cards and so here I am!  I know it's supposed to be spring here in the northern hemisphere, but could someone please tell the weather?!  It's supposed to snow/ice today here and I am just not really that happy about it.  I'm cold!!!  Anyway, my longing for spring has been transferred into these cards, I think.

(Walking on Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves)

(Inspired by layout and sunshine day theme.)

I've used washi tape by Studio 112, patterned papers by Recollections, stamps by Technique Tuesday, and all other supplies are from Stampin' Up!.

Here's something funny to go along with the song I chose.~

Oh, sunshine, I wish you would show yourself today!  I love the bright and happy feeling this card has.  AND it's relatively flat--so perfect for mailing!

For these fabulous challenges~

This card was fun to make!  I've used patterned paper by Recollections, a woodgrain folder by Darice, florists tape (yep--that green stuff is florists tape!), and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Trying to perfect CAS

I'm still working on perfecting my CAS style.  I feel like there is still more room for improvement, but I've made 4 cards that I am relatively pleased with!  I'll share 2 in this post and 2 in another later today. :)

IBSIC-#51

I've used stamps and glitter washi tape from Inspired by Stamping and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

I love the way this one turned out!  I'm going to use it for an Easter card--I think the sentiment is appropriate to define our Savior's Atonement, don't you?

Here's the second card~

(You're the Inspiration by Chicago)

This card uses floral stamps from Basic Grey and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.  I actually hand drew the "frame" around the top white piece.  I was inspired by THIS TULIP CARD by Chrissie over at Less Is More.  I like the white on white layers--it's CAS but just looks cool, you know?

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my cards!  I hope you've been inspired to create something today!  You could enter that into some of these fabulous challenges! :)  HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
