Here's the photos~
Challenge #45 5-2-13

My card~

Details~

I've used stamps by Inkadinkado and Close to My Heart (texture stamp), liquid pearls and a blending tool by Ranger, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.  I LOVE lighthouses--it's kind of my our couple "thing"--and have had this lighthouse stamp for a few years now.  It hasn't seen ink too much so it was good to get it out and add some texture with stamping and other mediums!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!  I appreciate all of your kind comment and I hope that you join us this time around and enter our fabulous challenge!  Don't forget to take some time to visit the other talented DT members as well!  HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Playing around with washi tape!!!

Hello again!  I know that I already posted today, but, well, last night I received some fabulous new stamps from Inspired By Stamping and so I just HAD to play with them!  I decided that since I was lucky enough to get the Washi Tape set in time to participate in the IBS Washi Tape Blog Hop (barely!) that I would create with this set!  Soooooo much fun!

Here's what I've made~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

I've used stamps by Inspired By Stamping and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.  I love these fun brads and I thought that the patterns and colors worked well with the stamped washi tape.  I stamped my sentiment on vellum so that it was clear and I like the effect--it makes the washi tape stamp images look more like actual washi tape!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek! I hope you join in these fabulous challenge and that you have fun doing it!  I also hope that you consider joining in the DT call we have going on over at House of Cards!  HUGS and happy stamping! :)

DT Call/Just Because Post

Well, I feel like I haven't actually blogged "just because" in a zillion years!  I do have one main reason for this post and it's to let you know that I am starting another NEW challenge called House of Cards! This challenge will be different than any other.  We'll have a monthly sketch or color scheme and ask you to create a project each week based on a specific card making style!  BUT, first we need some fabulous crafters to join us!  So, PLEASE pop on over and consider entering our DT call!  More information can be found HERE. :)

Another reason for posting today is to tell you about the great deals I got at the local consignment sale this past weekend!  I paid $38 and I got some bling, ribbon, acetate elements, paper elements, and 15 stamp sets!!!  You'll get to see a bunch of my new images in my May DT projects so stay tuned! :)

And now I'll share a few cards.  We had a few deaths in our lives last month and I still don't really want to talk about them, but these are the cards I made to send to those who lost close loved ones.

The cards~

Thanks for stopping in and taking a peek!  I hope you join in the DT call at HOC and that you'll create something today!  HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Inkspirational: May Color Challenge

Welcome to another month at Inkspirational!  Since it's a new month, we've got a new sponsor!  This month it's a fabulous friend who's giving away a batch of goodies from her stash!

With this fabulous prize~

One lucky winner will get
ALL of these amazing goodies!

So, what's this week's challenge?  Well, since it's the first week, we've got a new color scheme for you to play around with.  It's fresh and a bit summery...we cannot wait to see what you make of it!

Here it is~

Here's my card~

Details~

I've used stamps by Prima, clear embossing powder by Stampendous!, a blending tool by Ranger, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.  I used the medallion stamp to create fun faux patterned paper to match the vintage feel of the image and sentiment.  I just LOVE the contrast between the more modern polka dot paper and the created pattern!

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my card!  I hope you'll join us this week and that you'll take a bit of time to say hi to the gals on my fabulous DT!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
