Scraps are people, too!

That's right.  I keep lots of scraps.  I have two LARGE drawers full of them.  One has all my patterned scraps and the other has my plain colored ones.  And they're people, too! ;)  So, it was time for me to dig through these drawers and see what I could do with them!

Treasure Chest

Hi, friends!  Hope you all had a lovely weekend!  Mine went far too quickly. ;)  Anyway, as Father's Day is coming up this weekend, I thought it prudent to actually make my dad his gift.  I decided on this a while back and the end result turned out perfectly!  My dad LOVES Hershey's nuggets so I thought it would be fun to make him a treasure chest and fill it with them...and so I did!

Bubbles

Hi, friends!  So, today I chopped off my hair--FINALLY!!!  I have been growing it out for Wigs For Kids and so it was time to cut it!!!  Unfortunately, I was misinformed at the salon--they told me I just needed 8 inches to donate.  When I went on to the site, however, it said 12 inches.  Oh, well.  I guess I will grow it out again...a bit of a disappointment, but there you have it!  I hope I have enough to give to Locks of Love...otherwise into the bin!

Anyway, I have a dear friend who's birthday is Monday and I am going to visit her tomorrow for a small celebration!  She's got quite a bubbly personality so I made a card that is a bit different from a traditional birthday card...

Digi Haven's One Year Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Digi Haven!  It's one year old today and so we are gonna celebrate big time!  It's bittersweet for me as this will be my last post for this DT.  I've had an amazing time working with these fabulous crafters and I want to say thank you to Denise for the chance to be part of such an amazing team!  You have all taught me so much and I value your knowledge and friendship.  This isn't goodbye, just see you soon as I'm sure I'll play along from time to time! :)
