I'm sure that I've titled a post "Hope" before, but today I have another card using hope as a theme and I'll get a little more in depth about what I think hope really is.  But first, the card!  This card was made with a cancer survivor in mind...or perhaps just any woman who needs a reminder to not give up!

And now, a word on HOPE.  I know that a lot of people have hope, but I think my hope is different.  Because my DH and I haven't been able to have children and may not, I hope NOT for a child anymore, I hope for God to make it right in the next life.  Because I have faith that He will.  And that, my friends, is hope.  Not hoping for things that might not come, but hoping for things to be better once we leave this life.  Isn't that the best gift God could give us?

Great Impressions: Bookmarks

Hi, friends!  I'm back with another project featuring amazing rubber stamps by Great Impressions!  Today I thought I'd break out of my card making mold and do something a little bit different.  Remember those birthday cards I made for the monthly challenge?  Well, I thought I'd make a small coordinating gift to add to the cards for my friends!

I love this sentiment and couldn't think of what image I wanted to pair it with so I let it stand alone...with just a tiny butterfly for some embellishment!  Hopefully my friends will use these bookmarks and remember how special they are to me!  What gift for a friend will you create today using Great Impressions stamps?

CYDI: Lovin' Our Pets

Do you have a pet?  I do.  She is the love of my life (don't tell the hubby!) and she is a ray of golden light on a rainy day.  Let me tell you about my puppy--EVERYONE loves her.  People who don't like dogs or animals love her.  She's seriously that sweet!  And she loves to cuddle.  I seriously adore this dog and she's stolen my heart!  So I'm really excited to get to make a creation for the Can You Digi It? challenge blog based on the theme LOVIN' OUR PETS!!!
