Inspired By Stamping: Winter Mittens

Oh, the weather outside is... Finish the line--according to YOUR area of the world! ;)  I know it isn't all cold and wintry everywhere in the world, but I've got the winter blues today here on my blog--CHRISTMAS blues, that is!  Check out my card using *NEW* products from Inspired By Stamping...

I started by stamping and heat embossing a sentiment from the Festive Greetings stamp set onto white cardstock.  I sponged over it with varying shades of blue, then added some Wink of Stella for shine.

I utilized the Rock 'n' Roll technique on the mittens--also from the Festive Greetings set.  Some glitter gel pen filled in the snowflakes on the gloves, and a few navy pearls were added.  Silver glittery snowflakes fall down the patterned paper base, also dotted with navy pearls.

I love the wintry feel that I created by keeping this card monochrome, and I hope you do, TOO!  Please leave comments below to share what you're thinking with me today. :)

That's all for me today!  Make sure to hop over and grab this fabulous stamp set today to recreate my project.  Also, don't forget to join in our monthly challenge for your chance to win some goodies, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

Lightbulb Banner

Hi, all!  Is it just me, or is October super busy every year?!  I have been going out of my MIND trying to keep things together!  But, anyway...let's not get into that. ;)  I've got a fun card for you today using products from The Stamps of Life with a bright color scheme and WOOD pieces!  Take a peek...

I LOVE the new sentiments in the light4Jesus set, so I chose this to take up most of my card.  I added some Guava flower washi tape and a few enamel dots to highlight it.

On the top, I decorated some Wood Banner Pieces with stamped images from the lightbulb2stamp and patterns4lightbulb sets.  I added more washi tape behind them and tied them to the card with some twine.

I really love the way this card turned out!  The colors are so bold and fun!  I adore the different patterns together, too!  I hope you like it as much as I do--I would LOVE for you to leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

I'm entering my card into these fabulous challenges~

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you take some time to join the fun with these fabulous challenges and craft a bit today!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

MHKDesigns: Santa's Sleigh

Hello, friends!  Time for another release for MHKDesigns!  We've got five new sets and a few new paper packs to share with you this month.  Today we are featuring...

The "Santa's Sleigh" digital stamp set~

I LOVE the images in the "Santa's Sleigh" set, but I equally love the sentiments.  I chose to focus on a sentiment and add some sparkly embellies. Take a peek...

I decided to make the sentiment from the "Santa's Sleigh" set the focal point of the card.  I backed it with paper from the Holly Days patterned paper pack.  A few silver, green, and red rhinestone centered snowflakes were added for interest.  A punched border decked with liquid pearls and some velvet ribbon for added texture.

I LOVE the clean and graphic feel of this card.  It helped to keep my color scheme minimal and add just three embellishments.  I hope you like this, too!  I can't wait to read your comments below! :)

Great Impressions: CAS Santa

Hi, all!  It's time for me to share another card using stamps from Great Impressions!  I went CAS with this one and used a fabulous Santa image.  Take a peek...

This card uses G444 Santa Wishes and C427 Season's Greetings.  I just needed to add some patterned papers, ribbon, twine, a button, and a few sequins to anchor and embellish the combo!

I think this turned out pretty well--and I know I'll be able to mail it easily, too!  I hope you like it, as well!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

MHKDesigns: Holiday Deer

Hello, friends!  Time for another release for MHKDesigns!  We've got five new sets and a few new paper packs to share with you this month.  Today we are featuring...

The "Holiday Deer" digital stamp set~

I went for another easel card this time.  I kept the color scheme masculine and tried to stick with that in mind...here is the end result...

I had a lot of fun coloring in this image from the "Holiday Deer" set!  I started by using colored pencils.  I then added some watercoloring for the sky, glaze gel pen to the pine needles, and some liquid pearls as berries.  The final touch was some fake snow on the mountain tops.  The sentiment was used on the inside and some velvet ribbon is what holds the easel up.

I think I achieved my goal of keeping it masculine.  Of course, there is the velvet ribbon, but I think it kind of looks like a bow tie, so that's how I'm justifying it. ;)  I do love it, though, and I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!
