Inspired By Stamping: IBSIC #101

Hi, everyone!  It's time for another IBSIC challenge on the Inspired By Stamping blog, and we have some SUPER fun inspiration for you!  Check it out...

SO many ways you can take these, you know?!  I chose to be inspired by the colors...and the holiday theme in the picture. ;)  Take a peek at what I created...

I used the Sugar and Spice stamp set for my image and sentiment.  I LOVE all the different ginger people you can create with this super fun holiday set!  Some pearl buttons were added to this guy--so fun!  I kept to the colors in the inspiration for my patterned paper and stamping.  The vellum for the sentiment masks this particular pattern pretty well, don't you think?  I love this!

Up top I added some ribbons from the Pinks Ribbon Collection, a button, some elastic cording, and a pearl to tie it all together.  I LOVE non-traditionally colored holiday cards, so these ribbons were perfect for this color combo and card!

This card really came together well, I think!  I hope you like it, too!  Please do leave me a comment below to let me know what you think of it!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you come and join in the fun with us for IBSIC 101--when you participate you are entered to win some FREE products from Inspired By Stamping!  That's all I have for today--I'll be back later with more crafty makes.  Until then, HUGS and Merry Stamping! :)

Great Impressions: Sled Friends

Hi, everyone!  It's Monday, so that means it's time for me to share another card using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  I've got another fun holiday card to share with you today...take a peek...

I started my focal panel by stamping G511 Snow Drifts in a blue ink, then layering the main image over it.  I just ADORE this fun image, G387 Sleigh Friends.  I think it is super fun--and could be used for generic winter cards, too!  The sentiment is part of F249 Warmest Greetings.

I added some velvet ribbon and a punched and layered snowflake to the side to help anchor the main panel.  I really think this turned out to be super cute, and I could send it in January as a New Year's greeting if it doesn't get used as a Christmas card this year!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear in the comments below!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Paper Sweeties December 2015 Release!

Hello, all!  I am super excited to be back today to share my creations for the Paper Sweeties December 2015 release!  I get to share all FOUR of my creations with you today, so let's get started!

My first cards uses the *NEW* Merry and Bright stamp set and its coordinating Merry and Bright Sweet Cuts dies!  I stamped the tree onto pattered paper, then added some die cut garland and enamel shapes as ornaments.  I layered the die cut star with an enamel star to add more shine and tie in all the enamel going on here. ;)  The sentiment was stamped onto vellum, then die cut using the Be Happy Sweet Cuts dies.  A doily was used as a "snow bank".  Some patterned paper and ribbon finished this card off!

Next up, another card using the Merry and Bright stamps and Merry and Bright Sweet Cuts dies.  This time, I stamped the tree, watercolored it, added a shadow.  I stamped the garland and ornaments, colored the ornaments in, then added a die cut star and glitter for detail.  Some ribbon up top helps to make the card look more finished.

I then turned to the *NEW* Sugar and Spice stamps and Sugar and Spice Sweet Cuts dies.  I make a fun ginger-girl using the dies, added some Marshmallow sequins for a necklace and as added sparkle other places, and some googly eyes.  SO FUN!  I kept the colors girly and fun.  The little candy cane is also from the Paper Sweeties store.  This could be used for a holiday card OR for any occasion where a little girl is celebrated!

Finally, I chose to shy away from the upcoming holiday (kind of) and make another card using the Merry and Bright stamps and Merry and Bright Sweet Cuts dies.  This one was SUPER fun--I stamped the star image directly onto the card base in silver ink, then heat embossed them with some clear glittery powder.  I added some ribbon, a strip for the sentiment, and a punched and die cut embellie.  I was thinking this would be a fun birthday card, graduation card, OR if I added some red, how perfect for the 4th of July would this be?!  I LOVE the versatility of these new sets! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you hop over to the Paper Sweeties store and grab these goodies!  For more inspiration, make sure to check out what the other DT gals have made this month!

Here's your list~

And Here's What's New!

That's all for me today!  I'll be back in the New Year with more Paper Sweeties goodness for you!  Until then, HUGS and MERRY crafting, friends! :)

Just a note...

Hello, everyone!  I hope you're having a happy weekend!  I'd like to share a fun, bright, colorful card today that could be used for any occasion.  This card uses some of the *NEWEST* stamps from The Stamps of Life--they are SO fun!  Check it out...

I used the happymail2stamp and patterns4happymail sets on this CAS card.  I stamped the small envelopes as a border for my sentiment, then filled them in with the fun patterns and a variety of inks to add LOTS of color!  The only embellishments I added were a clear rhinestone flower and a strip of Guava flower washi tape.  Easy peasy!

I think this turned out SUPER cute!  You could swap the rhinestone out for something else that was flatter to make it easier to mail, but it wouldn't be too hard to mail it as is!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'd like to enter my card into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I appreciate all your sweet words and visits!  I'm done with classes for the semester, so hope to repay your sweetness soon!  I will be back later with more crafty posts--until then, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
