Great Impressions: When it Rains...

Hi, all!  It's time for me to share another creation using some fun rubber stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Take a peek at my offering today...

The boots and the sentiment are actually from the same stamp--F448 When It Rains.  I stamped the boots next to F480 Tulip Umbrella in red to form a fun border.  The sentiment was stamped onto another piece of cardstock in black, then matted and layered onto the focal panel.

I added some glitter to the images and some enamel hearts to the focal panel.  I kept the color scheme simple to help pack a punch--and red and black is one of my favorites!  I hope you like this creation as much as I do!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Great Impressions/CutCardStock Ladies' Night Blog Hop!

Oh, yes, it's Ladies' Night--oh what a night! ;)  The Great Impression team is hopping this month with the CutCardStock team to share creations using products from both the Great Impressions and CutCardStock online stores...with a feminine theme!

You should have arrived here from the CutCardStock blog.  If not, start at the Great Impressions blog to make sure you see all the links and fabulous inspiration!  Take a peek at what I created...

I chose to make a box card!  The base was made with Curious Metallic Violette cardstock and jazzed up with some Silk Glitter Opulent Opal cardstock.  The image is C414 Cameo.  I stamped it with purple ink onto Classic Crest cardstock before punching it out and matting it with Curious Metallic Lime cardstock.

The sentiment is C452 You're Fabulous.  It was also stamped in purple onto Classic Crest cardstock and then matted onto Curious Metallic Lime cardstock.  Some ribbon was added as an anchor.

The sides and inside were glammed up with flowers made from Curious Metallic White Gold and Curious Metallic Lime cardstocks.  The butterflies are made with more Curious Metallic Violette cardstock and Silk Glitter Opulent Opal cardstock.  The leaves are all punched from Curious Metallic Botanic cardstock.  I LOVE the beautiful shine this creation has--it's amazing in real life!

I decided to go with pearls as my accents.  I LOVE pearls, and I really think they are perfect for a feminine theme!  Plus, they go with everything, right?!  I really think this creation turned out beautifully, and hope you agree!  I can't wait to hear what you think in the comments below!

Your next stop on the hop is Annie's blog! :)

MHKDesigns: April Inspiration

Hi, all!  I'm back today with some inspiration using products from the MHKDesigns store--and I went bright today!  I have been in a bright color mood recently, so I hope you like my offering today.  Take a peek...

This image is from the Birds & Branches digital stamp set from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop.  I watercolored the image, and then   The sentiment is from the Mum's the Word digital stamp set and it was printed on vellum and then added to the image.

The card base was prepped with some paper from the Radiant Rainbows paper pack, a doily, and some ribbon.  I think the bold colors are super fun, and work well with the colors I used on the image!  I hope you like my creation, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  That's all I have for you today, but I will be back later this month with inspiration for our April release, as well as our next challenge.  Until then, I hope you join in the fun of our CURRENT CHALLENGE, and take a trip to the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop to grab these goodies!  HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends! :)

House of Cards: Use Script and/or Color Inspiration

Hey, all!  It's time for another challenge over at House of Cards, and we have a fabulous challenge for you this month!  We're asking you to use script on your creations and/or be inspired by this photo/color photo...

I was inspired by the script and the flowers in the photo.  I went with a similar color scheme, but wanted to make my creation a bit more bright and bold.  Take a peek...

I used the Blossoming set from MHKDesigns for my floral image.  I watercolored the image and background, then added some script to the background with green ink.  Some glitter was added to the center of the flower for shine and texture, and a sprinkling of embellishments were added for more interest.

The sentiment is from the Tulip of Thanks set from MHKDesigns.  It was printed onto vellum, then added to the card base, prepped with paper from the Egg-cellent Easter pack, with staples.

A pink doily and some green ribbon were added to the top of the card. I think this screams spring, don't you?  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take some time to craft and join us at House of Cards!  Don't forget to stop by the other DT member's blogs--they will blow you away with their creativity, just like they do me each month!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
