Be Yourself!

Hi, everyone!  This month, at The Stamps of Life, it's all about flamingos!  I've made a few cards with these amazing products, and I'd like to share one with you today.  Take a peek...

I used the flamingos2stamp, sayings4flamingos, and patterns4flamingos sets for this card.  I also used the Flamingo Dies to create a window.  The flamingo and another sentiment are on the inside!

Some patterned paper, acetate, vellum, and felt flowers with fun centers helped to finish this creation off.  I really love the way it turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'd like to enter this into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I apologize to all of you who keep leaving me comments and love with no reciprocation--this semester is almost over, and then I will play catch up! ;)  I hope you take some time today to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges.  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Inspired By Stamping: You Are Amazing

Hi, friends!  It's time again for me to share another creation made using fabulous products from Inspired By Stamping!  I used some gorgeous papers, ribbon, and stamps from the newest release for this creation.  Take a peek...

I used a piece of paper from the Spring Lilacs paper pack and stamped the sentiment, using stamps from the You Are set, in a deep purple ink.  I added some ribbon from the Purple Ribbon Collection and added some faux stitching for more texture.  A few rhinestones finished off the focal panel.

The card base was gussied up with more paper from the Spring Lilac paper pad and some cheesecloth.  I used the same deep purple cardstock to mat all the different panels on my card before adding them to a kraft base.  I really love the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I would love for you to let me know what you think in the comments below!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you like my offering for today, and I hope that you go grab these beautiful products from the Inspired By Stamping store!  Also, take a little time to create something today--you know you want to!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Great Impressions: One Layer Mother's Day

Hi, friends!  I'm back today to share a card using some beautiful stamps from the Great Impressions online store.  Since Sunday is Mother's Day, I thought I'd share a one layer Mother's Day card today.  Take a peek...

This image I used for this card is H255 Watercolor Flowers.  I colored it with markers before stamping.  Liquid pearls were added to the centers for more texture and shine.

After coloring and stamping the image twice, I stamped my sentiment--D350 My Mother.  Some pearls were added to anchor the sentiment.  I then rounded the corners of the card, and it was done!  I hope you like it--I really do!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

MHKDesigns: Sending Prayers & Love

Happy Monday, all!  It's my day to post on the MHKDesigns blog using products from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop.  I chose to make a "thinking of you" or sympathy card.  Take a peek...

The sentiment, from the Perfect Poppies set, was printed onto vellum and then added to a panel prepped with paper from the Damsel in Distress pack.  I added some cardstock as a border, then layered on glittery punched and enamel hearts.

I added my focal panel to a card base prepped with glittery purple paper, to match the hearts, and a half doily topped with ribbon.  I think this turned out pretty well--and I think it will be able to be mailed at a moment's notice, too!  What do you think?  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  That's all I have for you today, but I will be back later this month with inspiration for our next challenge.  Until then, I hope you join in the fun of our CURRENT CHALLENGE, and take a trip to the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop to grab these goodies!  HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends! :)

Great Impressions: May Challenge: Blinged Birthday

It's time for another monthly challenge at the Great Impressions blog, and this month we're looking for blinged up birthday cards!  Take a peek at my FLASHBACK card...

I originally posted this card back in August 2014, but I'm bringing it out of the vault!  I used two fabulous stamps from Great Impressions on this card--E846 Flag Banner and H257 Someone Like You. This sentiment is totally fabulous--it is TOTALLY possible to use just this stamp to create some amazing birthday cards!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you come and join our challenge this month--I can't wait to see what you create!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

House of Cards: Vellum or Acetate

Hi, all!  It's time for another monthly challenge at House of Cards, and this month we're asking you to use vellum, acetate, or some other clear/translucent paper!  Take a peek at my creation...

I used a sentiment from the Stitched Sunflower set by MHKDesigns and printed it onto vellum to satisfy the challenge parameters.  I added it to a panel with some papers from the Sunflower Sampler pack and punched clouds.  A few blue rhinestones add a splash of color.

To complete my "scene", I used some paper sunflowers made by my teammate, Cohenna!  I LOVE the amazing texture she added to the centers!  Some die cut grass and punched leaves add the green that is needed.  I drew lines on the leaves with a Versamark pen for more texture.

I then added my focal panel to the card base.  The paper on the card base is from the Party Hardy paper pack.  I also added cheesecloth for even more texture.  I really love the way this card turned out, and I hope you like it, too!  Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks for stopping by today, friend!  That's all for me today, but I hope you take some time to join the fun with us at House of Cards!  Don't forget to stop by and show some love to the other gals on this team--they ALWAYS come up with amazing creations for your creative viewing!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, all!
