Paper Sweeties: 4th Birthday Celebration!

Hi, all!  I'm super excited to be participating in the 4th Birthday Celebration for Paper Sweeties today!  Thank you to Debbie for inviting me to join in with the fun, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her sweet company!

I chose to go CAS for my creation.  I used some fun stamps and embellishments from the Paper Sweeties store.  Take a peek at the final product...

I used the Happy Cake Day set, Happy Cake Day Sweet Cuts dies, and Marshmallow Sequins for this fun card.  The images were colored in with Glaze gel pen and glitter.  I kept the colors simple for the WOW factor off of all that white space.

A bit of dry embossing and faux stitching, along with a twine and button anchor, finish off this birthday card.  I think it's super cute, and I hope you like it, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

For more inspiration, check out the whole hop~

That's all for me today, friends!  I hope you hop over to Paper Sweeties and grab these fun products!  Take a bit of time to join in the fun with this celebration, as well!  I'll be back later this month with more paper crafted creations.  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Beautiful You: Triple Time Stamping

Hi, friends!  Most of you heard the good news last week that I am now designing stamps for Inspired By Stamping!  I am SO excited about my first set, and so I wanted to share a card I made with my Beautiful You set.  I decided to do some triple time stamping on this one.  Take a peek!

I started by die cutting my background panels and then doing some triple time stamping with images from the Beautiful You set.  I then matted them with navy cardstock and layered them on top of each other again.  I also added come black seam binding ribbon from the Halloween Ribbon Collection, along with a couple of buttons and some navy baker's twine. I decided to go with circles for the sentiment panel.  I added some more of the same images from the Beautiful You set around the sentiment to tie it in to the background panels.

I added liquid pearls to the flower centers and Stickles to the centers of the dots for more texture and shine.  I used dimensional foam to add a bit more interest to the panels.  I really love this card and I hope you like it, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  Your visits and comments brighten my day. :)  That's all I have for today, but I'll be back soon with more cards and paper crafts for you to check out!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

MHKDesigns + House of Cards: Pretty Girls + Twine

Hi, everyone!  Happy August!  It's time for another challenge at House of Cards, and I've used some fun products from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop for my project today!  I'm actually giving you a SNEAK PEEK at a few products that I have coming later this month to the store. ;)  The challenge this month is to add baker's twine and/or use this color inspiration...

I chose to add baker's twine!  I did use some of the colors from the inspiration in my creation, but the focus was more on the twine for me.  Take a peek at my card...

I used papers from the Twinkle Twinkle Little Dots (coming soon!) and French Country paper packs.  The sentiment is from the Beautiful Bottles set (also soon to be released!), and the image is from the Butterfly Wisdom set.  Some rhinestones were added to tie in more of the pink from the twine, as well as a fun floral button.

A bit of faux stitching added a little more texture to the focal panel, and I decided to mat everything in white and add them to a kraft card base.  I think that these very different patterns really worked out well together!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take a bit of time to come and play along with us at House of Cards.  Don't forget to stop by the other DT members' blogs for even MORE amazing inspiration--they always blow me away!  I'll be back later this month with more crafty posts!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
