Inspired By Stamping: Beautiful Box

Hello, all!  Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I'm back to share another project using some amazing products from the Inspired By Stamping store!  This week's theme is to create 3D friendship gifts, and I decided to make an altered photo box that uses LOTS of goodies!  Take a peek...

I used the *NEW* Beautiful You set (designed by yours truly!) for the sentiments for this project.  The papers are from the Spring Lilacs paper pack.  I also used the Spring Lilacs stamp set, the Fancy Labels 2 dies, and the Fancy Labels 3 dies to cut and mat the two sentiments.

I used ribbons from the Purple Ribbon Collection and the Vintage Floral Ribbon Collection to tie a double bow on top of the box.  I added a paper flower to the center as a finishing touch.

I used images from the Spring Lilacs stamp set for the sides of the box.  I colored them in with Old Olive and Concord Crush ink.  The bird was stamped in Smoky Slate.  The ribbon covers the images up a bit, but the sides just needed a little something more to them. :)

I know the exact friend who will be receiving this gift, and I hope she likes it!  What do you think of the final product?  I would LOVE to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Once again, thank you so much for stopping by today!  That's all I have for now, but I will be back soon with more creations using gorgeous products from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Inspired By Stamping: On Your Birthday

Hi, friends!  I'm back with another card using GORGEOUS products from the Inspired By Stamping store!  We're going back to weekly themes, and this week we are sharing birthday cards!  I decided to use the *NEW* Just For You set to create a fun dual tone sentiment.  Check it out!

I stamped the sentiment, from the Just For You set, in two tones of pink to give a slight shadow effect.  I love the way it turned out!  I added a few yellow flower with black pearl centers and some faux stitching to finish off this portion of the card.

I added some ribbon from the Pink Ribbon Collection, a paper sunflower, and some punched leaves above the sentiment to tie in the floral paper and stamped panel.  I love the way these colors look with the vintage patterned paper on the card base!  I did some more faux stitching on the card base panel to add more texture and tie it to the stamped base, as well.

I also added part of a yellow doily below the stamped portion to even out the card and add a bit of brightness.  I love the way this card turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Once again, thank you so much for stopping by today!  That's all I have for now, but I will be back soon with more creations using gorgeous products from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

MHKDesigns + House of Cards: Quote Tree

Hello, friends!  It's the first of the month, so that means it's time for me to share a project using digital elements from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!  Today's card is also for the current House of Cards challenge.  This month we're asking you to...

...add a bird and/or be inspired by these colors.~

Because I love birds, I chose to go with the add a bird option!  I think I got a few of the colors in, as well, though. ;)  Take a peek at my card...

I used papers from the Cheerful Chirpings, Country Farm, and Glorious Garden paper packs for my creation.  I went with a frame and sentiment from the I've Been Framed digital stamp set because it fit perfectly with the theme I was going for.  The framed sentiment was printed onto vellum so that you can see through to the paper behind it.

I added die cut leaves, grass, and some sweet yellow-ish orange metallic flowers that were sent to me by my friend Cohenna!  Aren't they beautiful?  I love them! :)

I really think this card turned out to be super fun!  I love the way all these patterns go together, and I really adore the way my sentiment tree turned out. :)  I hope you like the final product, as well!  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take a bit of time to come and play along with us at House of Cards.  I hope you join the monthly challenge we have going on at MHKDesigns, as well!  Grab these goodies from the Etsy shop and get crafting today!  I'll be back later this month with more crafty posts!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
