MHKDesigns: Perfect Poinsettia

Hello, friends!  It is time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I have some super fun sets and papers coming your way!  There are a few "anytime" sets, and we're also looking ahead to a few winter holidays this month!  I hope you grab them for your stash!  Today we are featuring the *NEW*...

Perfect Poinsettia set!  

The brown elegant patterned paper from the Deck the Halls digital paper pack was added to my card base and looks fabulous with the pink I went with for this image!  Take a peek...

The image from the *NEW* Perfect Poinsettia digital stamp set was watercolored, then jazzed up with some Diamond Stickles.  I fussy cut it out before adding it to my card base.

I added the sentiment, also from the *NEW* Perfect Poinsettia set, to the side of the image as a banner.  I added a few rhinestones, some faux stitching, a doily, and ribbon to finish off this shabby creation.  What do you think?  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

MHKDesigns: Wonderful Wreath

Hello, friends!  It is time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I have some super fun sets and papers coming your way!  There are a few "anytime" sets, and we're also looking ahead to a few winter holidays this month!  I hope you grab them for your stash!  Today we are featuring the *NEW*...

Wonderful Wreath set!  

I decided to make an easel card and pair this beautiful wreath image with papers from the Deck the Halls digital paper pack.  Take a peek...

A combination of watercoloring and glitter gel pens were used to color in this fabulous wreath image from the *NEW* Wonderful Wreath set.  I added some punched leaves and a dimensional paper flower for a bit more texture.  Some faux stitching was added to the paper from the Deck the Halls digital paper pack for even more texture and finish.

The sentiment, also from the *NEW* Wonderful Wreath set, is on the inside of the card, and doubles as the stopper for the easel.  A bit more faux stitching and some rhinestones tie this portion of the card in with the front.

I kept this square, so it most likely will be hand delivered this holiday season.  I think this is beautiful, and I hope you think so, too!  Please do leave a comment below to let me know what you think! :)

MHKDesigns: Various Vehicles

Hello, friends!  It is time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I have some super fun sets and papers coming your way!  There are a few "anytime" sets, and we're also looking ahead to a few winter holidays this month!  I hope you grab them for your stash!  Today we are featuring the *NEW*...

Various Vehicles set!  

Masculine cards are difficult for me, but this set made it super easy!  I paired this set with the matching digital papers from the World Traveler digital paper pack.  Take a peek...

I did some sponging to create a scene for the truck image from the *NEW* Various Vehicles digital stamp set.  It added just the right amount of color and texture--I love it!  I kept the sentiment on the same panel to make things even easier--men don't usually like a lot of fuss. ;)

The only accents I needed to add were a bit of twine, a button, and some liquid pearls to look like brads.  Voila!  What do you think of the final product?  I would LOVE to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)
