Okay, first the challenges I'll be entering. Firstly, I was inspired by the colors over at the Play Date Cafe. I especially loved the roses on the teacups and the "for like ever" wall hanging.
Here is their inspiration photo~
I was also inspired by the Glitter Geeks challenge entitled "Song Title." The song I was inspired by is "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion.
Every time I hear a love song by Celine, I think of my fabulous husband and how much I love him. He makes me feel like his young bride every day of my life and I will ALWAYS think of him as my young and dashing groom. ;) He is such an inspiration to me and I love him so! Because he loves me, I know I can do anything! I will love him "for like ever"!!! Probably longer...
And now, before you puke because of the sappiness, here's my card~
Details~
I wanted to keep this card simple, but elegant. I used a clear glitter gel pen by Sakura to add all the shimmer and shine to the image and sentiment--I LOVE glitter and glam! I didn't like the rose dry embossed, so I stamped another one and colored it in, added the glitter gel pen, and then popped it up over the original image. The pearls were added as a reminder of the pearls I wore on our wedding day. :)
I hope you'll let me know what YOU think by leaving a comment! I also hope you're inspired to create something memorable today! Happy stamping! :)
No puking here LOL ~I have one of those special hubbys myself! The embossed bakcground on this is wonderful and grounds all of the pretty elements Mynnette!
