My first card is for the Gingersnap Creations Words of Wisdom challenge. The poppy image is a digi image from Prairie Fairy and the "words of wisdom" is from the PTI Simply Jane Set. Shimmer cardstock by Core-dinations. The image was colored in with ink and blender pens by Stampin' Up! and highlighted by Sakura gel pens. Pearls are by Studio 112 and Stampin' Up! The shaped card was made with dies cuts from Spellbinders Nestibilities.

Details & Inside~
The quote that I used for this card is one of my FAVORITE quotes ever. I love the background behind it as well. Since I'm a HUGE Jane Austen fan, let me explain the quote. The quote is from the novel "Sense and Sensibility." It's the tale of three sisters and their mother who become penniless after their father passes away and his estate is entailed to their half brother. Who has an EVIL wife. But I digress...okay, so Eleanor and Marianne are the two sisters that this story is mainly about. Marianne falls for a JERK (I shall refrain from calling him the true thing he is) named Willoughby and has her heart broken. While this disastrous love story is taking place, there is another man who truly loves Marianne. He is much older, but much wiser. After Marianne re-pieces her heart together, she says this quote as a contrast of the two men. *sigh* You gotta read that book!!!
Okay, onto another card! ;) This one is for the Stamptacular Sunday photo inspiration challenge and the Creative Belli sketch challenge. Yes, this is a sympathy card that was bought by a co-worker. :) I've used Prima flowers, pearls by Studio 112, all papers, ink, and images from Stampin' Up! and embossing folders by Sizzix.

All papers, ink, and stamps, punches, and ribbon are by Stampin' Up! The pearls are by SU! and Studio 112 and the rhinestones are from Kaiser Craft.

This is a really fun card fold to play with--and it's very easy to do! If you'd like to have a step by step tutorial, click here. :) The ribbon flower was created with single stitched ribbon. I simply pushed the ribbon down the stitching and wound it around a Gluber. :)
Whew! Sorry that was so long! I just needed to make sure that these got posted--wouldn't it be a shame if they weren't shared? I LOVE seeing everyone else's creations, so I hope you enjoy mine! Thanks for sticking in there--happy stamping! :)
