Make My Monday: Vintage

It's week two of our MASCULINE month at Make My Monday! :)  This week we'd like to see a masculine card in the vintage style!

Here's my card~

Details~

This one was so very fun to make!  I got to use a rarely used Father's day stamp that is from Inkadinkadoo and some images from the Daily Junque line from Pink Paislee.  I used a bunch of dry embossing using Tim Holtz folders and went with a brown monochromatic scheme.  I don't know why, but each time I hear vintage, I think of brown!  Sponged edges, metallic brads, and a heat embossed panel finished off my vintage look.

We are very fortunate to be sponsored by the fabulous Marianne Designs, who have provided an amazing bundle of goodies as a prize.

I hope you pop on over and join us!  I love seeing what all of you create--and don't forget to get more inspiration by visiting my fabulous design team members! :) Happy stamping!!!

  3. Hi Mynette, missed visiting your blog the last couple of weeks. I am with you in respect of going towards brown when I hear the words vintage and you have done your card in your own remarkable style. Super Petal! Suzanne :)

  9. Great card Mynette, yes vintage does tend to seem like "brown" . . . just like old sepia photos : )
