Now onto some other items of business. Namely 2 cards that I have to show you tonight. I've had a lazy day today. Okay, I did do some housework, but I did stay in my pajamas all day. After I took a shower, I hopped into a new pair, and that's how I've been all day. Haven't left the house at all! It's been absolutely fantastic! But I digress...
Here's card #1: Red, White, and Blue Posies For You~

For these fabulous challenges~
Here's card #2: You're a Star~
Details~
For these fabulous challenges~
I like this one. I used both sides of the embossing folder to create my two white embossed panels. It gives a subtle something I think. I also used stars to stick with a masculine theme. This is also my "Spread the L-O-V-E" card because I'll be giving it to my DH on Father's Day. :)
Thanks for stopping by--I hope you like what you see! I also hope you'll join in the amazing challenges--I LOVE seeing everyone's creations! Happy stamping! :)
Yep they look like dewy moonlit flowers to me! Love the sparkle! And your stars card is super cute...gotta get me some star dies!! PJ's all day YAY!!! I'd do that if I didn't take Max on walks. Do ya think the neighbors would mind LOL ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Mynnette! Love the sparkly posies and the pleated ribbon! Thanks for playing this week at The Play Date Cafe.
ReplyDeleteLove your card and your blog. beautiful texture and dp. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the love. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI think they are both great. I love the paper that you used for your stars. It is nice to have lazy days once in awhile. I love those days that I can stay home and just craft until my heart is content. :o)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and for your sweet comment.
Ohhh, love the glitter & bling in the first one!
ReplyDeleteGreat effect!
I like the double embossing(?) on the second one, very clever!
Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. Your flower scene looks beautiful and I LOVE the addition of the twinkles! The UK is currently awash with red/white/blue because of the Queen's Jubilee, so this looks very 'of the moment' to me :)
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous and totally different cards both are stunning. Yes I can see the dew on the first so beautifully stampend and designed. love the dynamic simplicity on the second.

Your card is just lovely. The glitter does make it look like the moon is reflecting light off the petals of the flowers. Great Card!
