Wow...

PERSONAL INFO SHARE TIME: Okay, so anyone who knows me knows that I am seriously organized about my blogging.  I make my DT cards and blog about them all in a few days.  I just got done today doing this and I feel SO RELIEVED!  Whew! ;) 

Also, you still have 2 days to play along with Technique Tuesday and make a Velveteen Stamping creation!  I'd really LOVE to see a lot more players--I really want to give out prizes!!!

This one is way more CAS and to my true liking.  Lots of dry embossing and minimum bling!  Doesn't this just look like summer?!  I was inspired by the summery scene and colors in the photo--such a happy picture! :)

Make My Monday: Floral/Color Challenge

Hi!  It's the last week for our FLORAL theme over at Make My Monday, and this week we've got a color scheme for you to play with as well!  The colors we'd like to see are green, pink, and white!

Here's what I created~

This was another use of images from The Graphic's Fairy (so OF COURSE, I'm linking it to Brag Monday!), but this time I lined three separate black and white images up next to each other before printing them.  I then colored them with blender pens, crumpled the paper up, semi unfolded it, sprayed is with pearl glimmer mist, and added it to the paper pieced background I made! :)  Since it fits the colors of green and pink at Cute Card Thursday, I'm linking there, too! :)  What do you think?!

I had so much fun making this card!  I got to use a new set from Crafty Secrets called Material Girl--isn't that name a scream?!  I also used scissors to distress all the edges of my papers and added brown ink for an even more distressed look.  The fabulous papers are by Pink Paislee with Prima crystals for embellishment.

Stamptacular Sunday: In the Garden

Dynamic Duos: Bashful Blue & Marina Mist

I haven't used this large stamp for quite a while, and so I thought it went perfectly for the "In the Garden" challenge!  It reminds me of Delft china, so the blues from Dynamic Duos was the perfect color scheme.  I think it turned out pretty smashing!  I hope you think so, too!

Hi, all!  First of all, have you taken time yet this weekend to create your card or project for Technique Tuesday?!  You've got a few days left--I hope you join me!  I really want to start giving away prizes!!! :)

Now onto some other items of business.  Namely 2 cards that I have to show you tonight.  I've had a lazy day today.  Okay, I did do some housework, but I did stay in my pajamas all day.  After I took a shower, I hopped into a new pair, and that's how I've been all day.  Haven't left the house at all!  It's been absolutely fantastic!  But I digress...

What do you think?  I recently purchased some of the cheap $1 acrylic stamps, and these wild flowers are some of the images.  I masked off the panel to create my blue moon...I was hoping this would look like the scene was moonlit.  Does it?  I added glitter and rhinestones to give the feeling of dew in the night air.  I dunno...maybe I went too artsy and failed?  Anyway, onwards and upwards!

Just Us Girls: Photo Inspiration

CAS-ual Fridays: Masculine card w/ patterned paper

I like this one.  I used both sides of the embossing folder to create my two white embossed panels.  It gives a subtle something I think.  I also used stars to stick with a masculine theme.  This is also my "Spread the L-O-V-E" card because I'll be giving it to my DH on Father's Day. :)

52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown: Embellishment Challenge #5

Hi!  Welcome to the last May challenge from 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown!  The fourth week is an embellishment challenge, and this week I would like to see creations embellished with EMBOSSING--dry or heat...or both!!!

Here's the little icon thing for ya~

And my first card with details~

 

This one uses a lot of bright and vibrant patterned papers, all dry embossed, and a soft sheer ribbon put together to make a pretty package.  I LOVE the way that it turned out!

Okay, onto the second card with details~
 

This one is more CAS and was quick and easy to make.  Just heat embossed my image, matted it, and threw it onto some more embossed papers!  I LOVE the pink and silver together!
