Autumn Gourds

So, it's almost autumn!  Well, it technically IS autumn, but it was 95*F here today.  Blarg.  I've decided to make an offering to the autumn fairy in hopes that cooler weather will find us!!!  I've used a fabulous freebie from Beccy's Place--it's gorgeous!

So, I started by water coloring the image using dark yellows, browns, and oranges.  I then spritzed the image with gold glimmer mist, dry embossed it, and added it to my card base!  Did you notice that I also decorated the inside?!  I rarely do that, but I wanted a sentiment...it just took too much away from Beccy's amazing digi!

    Down here in Texas (south), we're still hitting the 90's too! Maybe next month we'll get cooler weather.

    Love the soft Autumn colors on you focal image Mynnette! A lovely card my friend. It seems the fall colors have come to the trees here in just the blink of an eye. And our daytime temps are in the high 60s this week.
