Play time!!!

So, I have spent this day doing a bunch of administrative stuff on my blog but I have managed to schedule in some play time with my NEW STUFF and now I'm here to show you the result! :)  I've used a retired but new to ME stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Upsy Daisy and the baby wipe reinker pad technique.

For these fabulous challenges~



 

I made a baby wipe reinker pad using the two different colors of ink.  I chose to stamp onto natural white cardstock and then distress the edges with kraft ink so that the colors stood out more.  I stamped the flower silhouette image twice and then chose which sections to use on my card.  I adhered them with a darker yellow mat behind and then added the sentiment and some pearls.  I'm quite happy with how it turned out! :)

    Craft card is my least favourite to work with but the yellow and orange just pop out against it and loving those tiles and the pearls!and had never heard of the technique you have used so popped over to have a look and learn and will definitely be giving it a go ! x
