Here's the card~
Details~
For these fabulous challenges~
I think the best gift that we can be given and receive is peace. I'm not talking about the peace that would make everyone in the world get along and stop killing each other. That is not going to happen any time soon. I'm talking about the peace that comes from living a good life and doing what you know God wants you to do. That kind of peace can be found in making sure you do better each day--even if it's only a little bit better. It comes from loving the people you live with and those within your sphere of influence. One of my favorite quotes is by Mahatma Ghandi and is very thought provoking. He said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Peace on earth starts in our hearts and in our homes. I hope that as you enjoy this holiday season, you can find the peace that comes from the Love of the Lord and take that Love and make the changes in your life that will make you happier. Your happiness is only dependent on one factor--you.
So, now that I'm done with that, let's talk about the card, shall we? The sentiment is by Inkadinkado, the image is by Prima, the inks by Stampin' Up! and the rhinestones and paper also by SU!.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you join in these fabulous challenges and that you have a fabulous day! Merry stamping! :)
What a fun Christmas card :) Love the way you used that stamp and the colors.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card. I love how you interpreted the cue word. Peace is certainly more important than those wrapped presents I used. I wish I thought of that good idea. Love the colors, too.
ReplyDeleteVery fun and worth all of your effort!
ReplyDeleteGreat post Mynnette!
ReplyDeleteThis is a superb card and I'm sure the tree thought it worth the sacrifice to see the end result!
Thanks so much
Chrissie

This looks on first inspection to be a straightforward card, but it's no wonder a tree needed to be sacrificed as I bet it was a pain to get just right. Love the colours and that pattern repeat. You have such an eye for detail Mynnette, hugs Jenny x
