Winter Chickadee

Hi, friends!  Okay, I am SUPER excited about this post because it is the first time I've edited my photo using THIS AMAZING TUTORIAL on indoor photography and the photo of my card looks PERFECT.  I've been messing around with this for months trying to find some sort of happy medium, and I finally found one!!!  We'll see what you think, though. :)

So, I've again started my Christmas cards for this year--I find I am WAY less stressed having them all done by the end of the year, so I start in January.  So, why don't you take a quick peek...

Here's the card~

For these fabulous challenges~

(NEW stamp & kraft paper, OLD everything else)

I've used the darling Winter Chickadee from Great Impressions, a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Faux Ribbon set, patterned paper by Paper Shelter, glitter gel pens by Sakura, pearls by Want 2 Scrap and Studio 112, a border punch by EK Success, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Ok, so the photo??? What do you think?  I am SO excited with how it turned out!  If you're not, please tell me what you think needs to change so I can work on it...I'm all for getting better at things!

One more thing, do you like the white on kraft?  I created this effect by using a blender pen to lightly layer on Whisper White ink from Stampin' Up!.  TIP: If you're going to do this, designate an old blender pen to use ONLY with the white ink because it will get ruined! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by today to take a peek at my card!  I hope you join in the fun of these fabulous challenges and that you create something today!  HUGS and merry stamping to you all!
