DDD: Christmas Wreath + Wednesday Wisdom

Hello again, dear friends!  Welcome to another weekly post for me for Diane's Daydream Designs!  This week, I've got a CAS Christmas card to share with you using a GORGEOUS wreath from the Deck the Halls Color Set.  There are a ton of amazing images in this set, I just know that those of you who make holiday cards year round will NEED this one!

Here's my card~

Detail~

This card makes me reflect on all the wonderful verses in Isaiah about the Savior.  I'm sure you'll all join me in singing as you read Isaiah 9:6,

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

I love thinking of all the names given to Christ throughout His time here on the earth and even before and after.  His gift is Wonderful.  He can be our Counsellor at times when we need guidance or solace or healing.  He is mighty, everlasting, and eternally The Prince of Peace.  It is Him that I strive to emanate as I go about my daily life and His example that I try to follow in every situation.  I am so grateful for my Savior and His Atonement that makes it possible for me to repent and return to live with God.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my creation today!  I hope you take some time today to think on the names of our Savior and to utilize the gifts He gives us to better your life.  I also hope that you are able to feel God's love for you today and always--it never changes.  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

  4. Hi, Mynnette!
Beautiful card! I love your creations. You've asked if I used a punch or lace in my "Gorjuss" card. That's a self-adhesive velvet lace. I find these borders very pretty and easy to use.
