Inspired By Stamping: My First Canvas

Hi, all!  I've got something WAY different for me personally to share with you today!  Of course, I've used some amazing products from the Inspired By Stamping store to create it!  I do hope you'll like it as much as I do!

Here's the whole canvas.  I started by prepping it with some white gesso and then after it was dried, adding texture and color with a stencil, more gesso, and ink.  Some papers from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad also helped to form a corner frame.

Next, I turned to a sentiment.  I wanted this wall hanging to be something I could either keep somewhere close or give away for inspiration.  A sentiment from the Words of Inspiration set was the perfect choice.  I stamped it onto some more patterned paper from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad.  A few pearls in three of the corners completed this portion of the canvas.

Next up was what to accent the sentiment with.  Flowers seemed the natural choice.  I used some larger die cut and made flowers and then I added a few mixed small flowers, some pearls and rhinestones, and some metal pieces into the mix.  All of this was layered on top of a few punched out leaf sprays.

The main focal point was complete.  I also added some glitter to the edges of the flowers for some added interest.  I added some Mod Podge to the leaves and sentiment panel for added stability as well.  The floral pieces and other embellies were glued on with hot glue.

Here's a last look at the canvas.  Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at it!  I hope that it inspires you to try something NEW and that you grab these goodies from the Inspired By Stamping store, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
