Hi, all! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was good and that you're ready for a new week to start! :) I've got another card today that uses some NEW stamps from the Great Impressions store. Come and take a gander...
When I first saw this image and the sentiment that matched it, I fell in love! I started by stamping the image, F599 Buttercup Flowers, onto some patterned paper. I then stamped the sentiment, E855 Chin Up Buttercup, below the image. I colored these two things in with glitter gel pen.
I then decided that the image needed to be more prominent. I decided to do a little spotlighting. I stamped the image again onto some glimmery paper and then colored it and punched a circle out. I added it to the card with a few enamel dots. Perfect!
The result is a semi-CAS creation that used up some of the paper I was storing in my stash. Perfect use of it, actually! I like it a lot. What do you think? Do you like it? I'd love to hear what you think in the comments below!
I'm entering my card into the Stamping Sensations "Dies or Punches" challenge, the "Flowers" challenge at Fairytale Stampers, the "Anything Goes" challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, the "Something New" challenge at Fashionable Stampers, and the "NBUS" challenge at djkardkreations (you'll have to hop over to see exactly what that means if you don't know ;) ).
That's all for me today! I'll be back next Monday with another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions store. I hope you hop over to the Great Impressions blog for more inspiration and to join in our monthly challenge. Until next week, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

I think your circle spotlight is perfect with that particular pretty patterned paper, Mynn. Maybe that's what informed your brilliant decision to do the spotlight! And the sweet flower image lends itself to being spotlighted, so it all came together like it was meant to be! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #3!! Hugs, Darnell
