Inspired By Stamping: New Hummingbirds Set


It's time for another day of release week for the Inspired By Stamping store!  I'm really excited about my card today for a few reasons.  First of all, it's my first attempt at no line watercoloring and I think it actually looks ok.  Secondly, the set we're showcasing today is FABULOUS!  It's called Hummingbirds....check out my card!

Like I stated, this is my first attempt at no lines watercoloring.  I started by stamping the hummingbird and flower images from the Hummingbirds stamp set onto water color paper.  I then watercolored them using Distress Markers and then filled in the background as well.


I then stamped a sentiment from the new Flower of the Month: Pansy stamp set in black ink and added a bit of bling with a lot of shine.  So pretty! :)

I then layered the panel onto a black cardstock mat and then a card base that had been prepped with some glitter paper, too.  I am very pleased with this card and I now how to find the perfect recipient!  What are your thoughts?  I'd love for you to leave me a comment to tell me what you think!

    If I didn't know that you had used stamps Mynn I would have thought you had painted this beautiful creation. I got to get my stamping head into gear and start entering the challenge again - I need these stamps!
