Watercolored Easter Lilies


Hi, friends!  Since Valentine's Day is almost here and gone, I've started making cards for the next major holiday--Easter!  Today I've got a no-lines watercolored Easter card using some beautiful stamps from Great Impressions.  Great Impressions is sponsoring Aud Sentiments this week, so go check that out!  Take a peek....


I started by stamping the image, G452 Easter Lily, with some Aged Linen Distress Ink.  I used other Distress Ink colors to watercolor it.  I was very happy with the results!



I then die cut the watercolored panel, matted it, and added it to my card base.  I added a sentiment, C430 Cursive Happy Easter, and some pearls.  I also added seam binding ribbon and a bow with a pearl center.



I kept the colors pastel for spring!  I totally love the elegance the pearls bring and I am quite proud of the way the image turned out!  What do you think?  I'd love for you to leave me a comment and let me know!
