Inspired By Stamping: Folded Frame Card


Hi, all!  I'm super excited to share my card today!  I've used some beautiful products from the Inspired By Stamping store that came together perfectly!  This week, the DT is featuring new techniques.  I decided to try out the Folded Frame technique--and I LOVE the results!  Come and see the card...


The first thing I did was cut two pieces of Spring Lilacs paper into 4 1/4" squares.  I then adhered the backs together to create a double sided piece of patterned paper.  I folded my frame, adhering it with foam dimensional pieces, and added another coordinating piece of Spring Lilacs paper, 3" square, to the center.  I heat embossed a sentiment from the Words of Inspiration stamp set with some glittery black embossing powder and added a few rhinestones to accent it.


I then stamped two of the flower images from the Fancy Labels 3 stamp set.  I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers, fussy cut them out, then adhered them to the frame.  I added some glitter glue for added sine and texture to the images.


The final step was to add my created frame to a card base.  This card base was prepped with some more of the gorgeous Spring Lilacs paper to match the center of the frame and tie the whole thing together.  I LOVE these colors and the way this turned out!  What do you think?  I'd love for you to leave me a message in the comments below to let me know!
