Paper Sweeties March Release Countdown!


Welcome back to Day 2 of the March Paper Sweeties release, friends!  I'm back with another card AND a tutorial video on how to create this big and bold bloom!  Come and see the card...


My first step in creating this card was to make the flower.  You can see a video on how to do this on the Paper Sweeties' YouTube channel.  You'll need the NEW Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts, paper, and a way to glue them together.  Yes, the leaves are even made using these fabulous dies!!!



The flower was layered onto a card base and then I added a sentiment from the I Pick You stamp set and die cut it out with the Be Happy sweet cuts.

Lastly, I added a sprinkling of buttons, liquid pearls, and a few sequins in Grape, Marshmallow, and Creamsicle.  I just LOVE the variety of colors that these sequins come in--check them all out HERE!


This card was pretty super quick and easy to make, but I think it definitely inspired a springtime feel, don't you?  I'd love for you to let me know your thoughts in a comment below!

    Mynn, this is such a FUN card! The heart flower, and even the leaves, looks amazing, and I love the yellow center you made from the circle die! All the randomly placed buttons and sequins (which I'm sure aren't so random, right? hehe) finish off the card beautifully! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs!
