Hi, all! It's time for another monthly challenge at House of Cards. This month, we're asking you to either use the colors in our inspiration board, add a butterfly, or do both! Check out the inspiration...
I decided to do BOTH! I love these fabulous colors and I also LOVE butterflies, so this was a match made in heaven for me! Take a peek at my card...
I started by creating a card base decked with some yellow polka dot paper and cardstock from The Stamps of Life. I added some red ribbon or more color! I stamped a sentiment from the happycalligraphy2stamp set directly onto the patterned paper.
Next, I added some punched butterflies out of more cardstock from The Stamps of Life and layered smaller vellum butterflies to the top of each. I added enamel hearts from Teresa Collins and then liquid pearls were added as butterfly trails. I LOVE these fun primary colors!
I think the final project is a super fun card. Also, it will be pretty easy to mail! I'm hoping you like it, too! I'd love for you to tell me your thoughts in the comments below!
I'd like to enter this card into these fabulous challenges~
That's all for me today, friends! Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by to take a peek! I hope you join our challenge at House of Cards, and don't forget to leave some love with the other gals on this AMAZING design team, too! HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Mynn, you left a lovely comment on my blog (Twine Around) the other day (thank you very much!!) saying you had made a similar card with the butterflies and vellum around the other way. I just had to come and have a look. They look so spectacular and would never have thought to put the vellum on top! You have used the challenge colours so perfectly too (these bright colours all together scare me a little) but you make it look so easy. Love the black enamel hearts too, they are a perfect touch for your card. Amazing!!
