Hello, my friends! I hope that your December is going well and that you are taking it easy on yourselves! If you've still got some holiday cards to make, I've got an easy peasy CAS holiday card that uses beautiful stamps from the Inspired By Stamping store and could be just what you're looking for! Take a peek...
The image is from the Summer Warbler stamp set and was stamped directly onto the card base, then watercolored to look like a robin. I added a few pearls to accent my little guy because I thought they looked kind of snowy. :)
I then created my "anchor" by stamping a sentiment from the Big Holidays stamp set onto patterned paper, layering it with another piece of patterned paper that was punched with a scallop border, and adding some ribbon from the Christmas Ribbon Collection.
This was such a super FUN card to created! It was really very simple to make, too! If you're looking for even less steps, you could just stamp the robin in another fun color (maybe turquoise?!) and not color him in. I LOVE the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too! Please leave me a comment below and let me know your opinion!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! That's all I have for you today, but I'll be back soon with more inspiration for the monthly IBSIC challenge. Until then, HUGS and MERRY stamping, friends! :)
