It's time for a new release at MHKDesigns and the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop has been stocked with the new digital stamp set and digital paper packs! Today we are showcasing the *NEW* Eat Your Cake. Take a peek at what I made...
I colored the cake image from the Eat Your Cake set with Spectrum Noir markers. I added some glittery goodness with Stickles and a yellow glitter gel pen from Sakura.
The best part about the *NEW* Eat Your Cake set is that there are COORDINATING papers, too! They're called Party Hardy, and I used them for the card base and large star on my card. The sentiment was printed on to vellum before being stapled to the card base, and a few black rhinestones were thrown in for texture.
I used star embellishments to tie in the stars on the birthday cake, and I kept with a primary color scheme so that this card could be used for either a guy or a gal. I think it turned out to be pretty fun! What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
I'm entering this into these fabulous challenges~
So, now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE! Here's what you'll need to do...
- Comment on the MHKDesigns blog.
- Comment on each DT member's blog.
- Join our MHKDesigners and Friends Facebook group and comment there.
I'll be choosing comments randomly from all these places after the release is over, and the authors of those comments will be our winners! So, the best way to win is to comment every day! We LOVE the feedback you give us! :) Here's the list of blogs for you to visit each day...
